How I Remember Those Tent Revivals!

How odd is it…actually, How oxymoronic is it…The world wants Peace! Yet to have Peace requires everyone to be of the “Same Mindset…to Work Together” for the same end result. Now this is in the face of everyone being of “Self-Interest” first, it’s “All about ME!” I am sorry…to a degree…if this smarts a little, to some. And then on the same hand, it matters little, because no one seems to be paying any attention in the first place. As the saying goes, “If the shoe fits”…right?!

Here’s another thing! If the world wants Peace, yet everyone is in War, how far do you think we are going to get?! Everyone thinks their “Religion” is the True Religion, thus anyone with a different idea is flat-out Wrong and for some, the “Un-believers” should be eradicated! So…my Friends and readers, how does this work out for your longing of Peace worldwide?! As the Bible continues to state, there will be NO Peace without Jesus Christ! Since the Word of God is being so violently removed from everything, thus eradicating the name of Jesus Christ for everyone, how will this work out for Peace?!

People, we need to look about ourselves and take a serious accounting of our world (The People) and all their activities and their beliefs, is the world in alignment with what the Lord God says?! I am going to state the obvious again! The path everyone is walking is against the Word of God, thus the world is against the Lord God Almighty…this is a fact! If we are able to look at the situation, as in a movie, it would be a Huge Highway, with Zombies in extremely long lines, shuffling along, no thoughts, no cares…to an ultimate end in Destruction! Is this shocking to you?!

Rotten Skin, raggedy clothes, dead eyes, no thoughts, no reasoning of any kind, simply shuffling along, one after the other…till they fall off the edge of the cliff…into Hell! My Question then is, why does everyone think that, anything you say will end with some sort of Equitable result?! Do you think they will understand your concern here?! They’re Zombies! They do NOT think or consider anything but what is right in front of them and this would amount to “The Treasures of their Heart”, stuff, Money, Big Houses, fat bank accounts! Is any of this making any sense to anyone else, or is this just my View?! My Friends, we need to be speaking up! We must go out of our way, to leave our comfort zones and begin telling everyone we know, and the we don’t, about Jesus Christ, about Salvation through HIS blood from the Cross at Calvary! There simply is NO other way around it!

We are presently looking forward to electing a new President…thankfully speaking. The question then is, whom are we going to vote in?! We must realize the background and the Truths of what they say and then hold this person accountable, again following the simple Right is right and wrong is wrong! We need for this to happen, otherwise we will see another President fail as this present President has. We need to have Prayer back in our schools, we need to have a Strong individual with a great Military once again. We need the Courts to judge according to the Ten Commandments and to Honor the Laws of God. Anything less will bring chaos and further erosion and destruction of our Country!

We need for the Pastors and Ministers of this nation to stand up for Jesus Christ and HIS Holy Word, the Bible! The time for sitting back and being quiet are over! We need better Management of our Laws, our Resources and our People! Anything less and we will go the route of all other Empires the world has seen in the past. What is even worse, we will see our People walk that Huge Highway to Hell! We must have leadership that will turn this nation around, to a God Fearing Country! Jesus Christ is the ONLY hope we have, because this country has lost it’s Moral Equilibrium and Compass!

We are in this entire thing all together and if we fail in this concern, we will watch as the Members of our Families, those that we love the most, walk that Highway! That I am sure, no one wants to see or know!

2 Chronicles 7:12-14 “And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

My Friends, this is straight from the Lips of God to your and my Ears, as is stated in Revelation, “He that hath ears, let him hear.” This is plain and simple Words of Wisdom out of the Holy Word of God!

In my head, I hear that Tent Revival Preacher, hollering these same words and then slam the pulpit! I was just a little guy at the time and those tents were hot during the Texas summers. I would jump and then look at my Mom and Dad and they would be saying “Amen!” I would look across the field where the tent had been erected and see the undulating and rolling heat rise from the ground. I didn’t fully understand what I was hearing, but I remember those times and those words today. They are the words of Wisdom…we are in the Last Days! We are at the Pinnacle of wickedness, suffering and pain, thus the people are screaming for Peace!

These people of today want an individual that can bring Peace and yet these same people have no idea that Jesus Christ is in the midst of all that is taking place and HE is begging for HIS voice to be heard! Salvation has been right here the entire time, but after the Rapture, it’s going to be Hell here on earth! Anything else, other than Jesus Christ is going to bring everything that HE is not! The Death toll is going to be astronomical, the disease, the suffering, are going to be the likes that has never been seen on this earth since its Creation! The question is, where are YOU going to be?!

Revelation 14:9-11 “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

My Friends…if need be, re-read the Passage of Scripture above, over and over again, until you clearly understand what is being said here! This applies to every single person across the Globe, without exception! Jesus Christ is the ONLY way out of that, HE is the ONLY way to get off that Highway!

Every single word of the Bible is absolute Truth, there are NO errors in any of it and everyone needs to read it and apply it to their Lives, before they loose their Eternal Life! Again…how odd is it, the very answer to everyone’s need and questions is in Jesus Christ…HE alone will bring the Peace you crave! So now the question is…knowing the Bible, the Holy Word of God, has been around longer than 4500 years, Why have so few read it and lived it and sought Peace and Safety in it?!

Satan HATES YOU!! He always has and always will and he wants to destroy you and your Eternal life, your chance to gain Heaven! Since we KNOW this to be the TRUTH, then why would you want to Listen to him?! I thought you loved your comforts, to live the High-Life! If this is indeed what you really want, then why do you listen to Satan’s lies?! Again…John 3:16 comes alive and can be seen with a new face…that of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
