Lord Willing

James 4:13-16, “Come now, you who say today or tomorrow we will go into this or that town, and spend a year there, and do business and make profit. (14) You do not know about tomorrow. What is your life like? For you are a puff of smoke that appears for a short time, and then suddenly vanishes. (15) You ought to say instead, If the Lord is Willing, then we will live and do this or that. (16) But as it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.” (emphasis mine)

Any time someone uses the phrase “Lord Willing”, there are those who say to themselves, or even out loud, “Another one of those.” I must say that, yes, I am one of those. Even though I don’t say it out loud often, my mind constantly says, “If it be Your will, Father.” I know who fulfills my every need, and even gives me every breath I take.

The day will come, either through death or by Rapture, that this world will be behind me. That thought is not unpleasant to me, as I know I have accepted Jesus as my Savior, and I believe His gift is real. Someone once said they would rather believe in Jesus and heaven and eventually find out there is nothing after death, than to not believe and find themselves in eternal Hell. To believe now gives us Hope, and there’s just too much evidence that God is real, and all His word – the Bible – is true. I pray that any of our loved ones that haven’t accepted Jesus, will do so before it’s too late.

This world is going through changes that are not any form of normal. Common sense is just about gone. Things that all members of congress and past presidents agreed on before, are suddenly “evil”. Even with video evidence from the past that proves they are only protesting the “current president”, they deny they ever said such things. Yet, they believe we the people are totally gullible and believe everything they put out there for their own greed and lust for power.

We are seeing Isaiah 5:20-21 in its full splendor and glory, and it was written over 2500 years ago. “Those who call evil good and good evil, are as good as dead; who turn darkness into light, and light into darkness; who turn bitter into sweet, and sweet into bitter. (21) Those who think they are wise are as good as dead; those who think they possess understanding.” Does this sound like our liberal lefts in congress?

All semblance of order is just about gone in our government. We are to pray daily for those in charge, and lately, my prayer is “Father, please bring back some common sense to congress.” The phrase, “the opposite of PROgress is CONgress” used to draw a laugh, but not anymore.

The battle that is waging right now, goes beyond political beliefs and values; it is the onslaught of the increasing war between good and evil. The lines were formed before the beginning (Genesis 1:1), and are rapidly approaching the “Wrath” period spoken of in Revelation. People ask why God doesn’t intercede and put things back in order right now. The “prince” of this world is satan, and the Father is “allowing” him to work his plans “with every kind of evil deception against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10)

This message continues, “Consequently, God sends them a deluding influence, so that they will believe what is false. And so, all of them who have not believed the truth, but have delighted in evil, will be condemned.” (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12)

It’s not hard to see that the attitude towards anything “Christ-oriented” is being challenged all over the world. Yet, anything concerning any other belief or alternate lifestyle is being accepted, including open worship of satan.

When kids as young as 11 can dress “seductively” as transvestites, and dance in a gay bar for dollar bills, and no one is arrested for child abuse, something is desperately wrong. Also, when two young girls, aged 11 and 12, plan to commit mass murder in their school, and even bring in the implements to accomplish this, our world is in trouble. These girls are said to have “prayed” and given their souls to satan before attempting to carry out their plan.

For people to try and blame the Lord for this shows their lack of understanding of Him, and they only “call out” to Him when something goes wrong. Once a person understands that our God, Creator and Heavenly Father wants a “relationship” with us, we can see this world in its true light. He could have created us like robots that are programmed to do His will, no matter what. He could have forced us to worship Him, but that is not His nature.

He has given us a free-will to accept or reject Him; to worship Him, His Son and the Holy Spirit, or not. And He asks no payment in return, except for us to have faith and believe that His word is true, and that we ask for forgiveness of our sins. There is no price we can pay, no good deed we can to, to earn even one second in Heaven. Jesus paid for each and every one that will accept Him – in full!

Romans 10:9-13 covers what He wants from us, “because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (10) For with the heart, one believes and thus has righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses and thus has salvation. (11) For the scripture says, everyone who believes in Him, will not be put to shame. (12) For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses All who call on Him. (13) For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” When God says something once, we should take heed; when He repeats something, we need to really pay attention.

The day is coming soon, when Jesus will take His Church (all Believers) Home, and the final 7-year period of wrath will play out. Those taken will have new forever bodies, and a sin-free frame of mind once and for all. Those remaining will go through the most horrible time ever seen on this earth, and most – at least 2/3 – will be violently killed.

Everyone must choose for themselves whether or not to accept Jesus. One of my daily prayers is “Lord, if it be Your will, please send someone or something into the path of our loved ones who have not accepted Your Son, before it’s too late”

God will in no way force His will on others, but if He can send a “deluding” influence, He could also send an “inviting” influence if we ask. It would still be up to each individual to say “yes” or “no”. Once the final breath is taken on this earth, the choice is sealed and final. It will be irrevocable. Accept Jesus – enter eternal paradise; reject Jesus – enter eternal punishment. There is no third option.

False prophets are telling congregations and all who will listen that there’s many ways to heaven without Jesus. They will receive extra judgment for their lies. Satan knows what his outcome is scheduled to be; he just doesn’t know when. Meanwhile, he can read signs, and knows the time of his end is drawing near He wants to pull away as many souls as he can to be with him in eternal punishment. Sad part, many are only to eager to follow him.

Lord Willing, everyone who sees this message will be inspired by the Holy Spirit to seek Jesus. Lord Willing, they will believe we are not guaranteed another hour, and will call out to Him now. Lord Willing, the Heavenly “reunion” will be complete with all our loved ones being there. Lord Willing, I will see you there!
