The Rapture Report – 12/24/2017 – Trump’s Recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital and the Related Fallout

Back at the beginning of December, U.S. President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish State of Israel. This was long overdue and has had as expected inflamed tensions in the region and elsewhere. Trump knew this was coming, but despite all of this showed more intestinal fortitude than all the previous American presidents since the Oslo Accords in 1995. Trump recognized the obvious, even if the world did not. For this, I am sure God is please, even if the leaders o the world are not as evidence by the recent UN vote against Trump’s declaration.

Now, several weeks later, we are seeing that the inflamed tensions have spawned complete outrage from PA President Abbas. Abbas has effectively stated that the U.S. has given up the right to be a mediator in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Abbas is reportedly looking to Europe, Russia, and others to fill the place of the U.S. in the so called “peace” process.

In fact, Russia has come out on record as being willing to take the mantle of leadership and run with it.  I doubt Israel will put much stock into Russian leadership in the peace process. I hope that Israeli PM Netanyahu has read the biblical chapters of Ezekiel 38-39. If he has, he will know that Russia is not to be trusted at all.

Turkey stuck their head in the fallout of Trump’s declaration and has made bellicose statements like that they were going to setup an embassy in east Jerusalem. This is nothing but baloney and Erdogan knows it. He has about the same chance of doing that as a snowball has in Hell. It’s just not going to happen. It seems his grandiose statements are mere attempts by him to raise his and Turkey’s standing in the Islamic world by feeding on the outrage of Trump. They are definitely not realistic actions that he will be able to pull off.

Abbas has now declared today that he will not accept an American peace proposal and that he has cutoff ties with the American consular staff. Reports are that he has written off President Trump as a “lost cause” and has instructed his diplomats not to accept communications with the Americans. I hope that Abbas will cutoff of accepting American funding for the failed state of “Palestine” as well. We will see if he does that, but I am not holding my breath. I would imagine Trump will have to turn off the faucet on that. These beggar nations that take American money while stabbing us in the back need to be shown the door once and for all.

Also, it is being reported to that Israeli PM Netanyahu stated that Abbas’ actions show that he is not interested in finding a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We all have know this for a long time, but I am glad that it is being said out loud now on the international stage. The world should call out Abbas for his actions as well as the PA’s previous actions in rejecting peace proposals that were offered.

To see all of this transpire recently has been very mind-blowing and interesting as well. I think that if the PA is able to cutoff the U.S. from playing a role in the peace process that it will open the door to Europe provided that the Israelis go for that deal. I’m not sure that they will, but it is probably likely in that the Bible tells us that a strong leader from Europe will one day confirm a covenant between Israel and the many for seven years that will be headed by the “man of sin” that we know will be the Antichrist.

While the Antichrist will eventually confirm a covenant for seven years with Israel, there are other things that will likely take place before this. Some of these things include a potential Psalm 83 prophecy being fulfilled whereby Israel defeats her immediate enemies on her border and then followed by the Gog and Magog conflict spoken of in Ezekiel 38-39. This Ezekiel 38-39 conflict wil be led by Russia, Iran, and Turkey. The same exact nations that are in the headlines today as a result of Trump’s declaration. With the recent revelation that Iran has completed their so called “land bridge” extending from Iran to the Mediterranean Sea as well as Russia’s involvement in Syria, we can see that things are lining up exactly as the Bible has foretold.

Now more than ever, we need to sit up and remain sober with the way things are going in the Middle East. I believe that Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as being Israel’s capital will change the geopolitical dynamics on the ground in the Middle East. We are already seeing a lot of this in that the Arabs are beginning to take sides against Iran and in some cases even siding with Israel. This sort of behavior is expected given that the Arab nations are not mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39. We really need to keep watching the situation on the ground. Things are heating up like never before, so much that we need to be watching all the time, because the Bible tells us when we see these things that our redemption is drawing nigh!
