The Rapture Report – 12/03/2017 – Report: Saudi Arabia to abandon PA in favor of Israel
By Chris Schang

Saudi Arabia has been in the news a lot lately given the tense situation in the Middle East over Iran. As we know, the Saudis are working hard to try to limit the influence of Iran in the region. The Iranians are trying to exert their influence in the region by causing problems in the UAE, Lebanon, Syria and a couple of other places. The Saudis for their part do not want to see an increased influence of Iran in the region as the two countries are sworn enemies.

The tension and influence of Iran is having a dramatic effect in the region. It is causing shifts in the geopolitical climate in the region as evidenced by the Saudis becoming friendlier with the Israelis. A big sign that is evidence of this is was seen in the Israel National News website where an article suggests that the Saudis will abandon the PA in favor of Israel. The INN article reports:

A bombshell report suggests that Saudi Arabia will buck its commonly held belief that relations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) are key towards establishing relations with Israel and are ready to sign a deal with the Jewish state, even if the PA opposes it.

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s former national security advisor Yaakov Nagel told the Telegraph that Saudi Arabia is so desperate to ink an agreement with Israel that it is prepared to move forward despite lack of a Palestinian state. Saudi Arabia’s traditional position forbids negotiations with Israel until a two-state solution is implemented.

“They just have to say there is an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, they don’t care, they don’t give a damn about what will be in the agreement,” Nagel said. “They need to say there is an agreement in order to go for next steps.”

The INN reports that there are many countries in the Middle East region that have ties with Israel. The INN article goes on to further report:

Channel 10 reported last month that Saudi Arabia told PA President Mahmoud Abbas to either accept an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal currently being advanced by the Trump administration or be forced from his position. Abbas hotly denied the remarks and a close confidant told the Times of Israel that “The Channel 10 report is fabricated, false and untrue.”

Israel has long been rumored to be holding covert ties with Saudi Arabia and Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon said last week that Israel enjoys warm relations with many Arab countries despite the fact that these countries officially refuse to recognize Israel’s existence.

“They still do not vote with us, but I can say that we have a relationship with them,” Danon told Ynet. “We are talking about a dozen Islamic countries, including the Arab countries that understand the potential of relations with Israel. The State of Israel is not the regional problem, it is the regional solution, so we are strengthening this cooperation.”

The interesting thing about all of this is how it might influence Bible prophecy in the future. I have been having many ideas about this and the one that keeps coming back to me is that this could be a big reason why the Arab nations are not mentioned in the Ezekiel 38-39 conflict.

Many students of Bible prophecy have wondered why the Arab nations seem to be mysteriously left out of the Ezekiel 38-39 conflict as the prophecy does not mention any Arab nations by name. While Russia is obviously seen as the ringleader of the Ezekiel 38-39 allies, the rest of the countries mentioned in the prophecy are Moslem. Could it be that with the growing influence we are seeing by Iran in the region is a sign that the Ezekiel 38-39 conflict is currently in the stage-setting process? I am going to say that I believe so.

I believe that Russia, Iran, and Turkey are not going to let this opportunity to try to control the Middle East slip form their grasp. If this is indeed stage setting for the Ezekiel 38-39 conflict, then the rapture of the church could be even closer. I believe that we need to keep a sober watch on the Middle East with the developments that we are seeing transpire. The current geopolitical situation in the Middle East seems to be setting it up for the perfect storm that could results in the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 where God supernaturally intervenes to save Israel form these evil allies. The coalition of Russia, Iran, Turkey, and other allies in the region is a very formidable alliance that God will use to spiritually awaken his chosen people in Israel.

It is believed that God does not focus on both the church and Israel at the same time. So, if God turns his focus back on Israel after this Ezekiel 38-39 scenario, then it is logical that the rapture will have removed the church beforehand. While I can’t guarantee that what we are seeing is the setup for the Ezekiel 38-39 war, we do know that the relations between Russia, Iran, and Turkey are as such that they have never before occurred like they are today. We need to keep a close watch on future developments in the region.

With this in mind, I encourage everyone to keep looking up, for when we see these things beginning to take place, we know that our redemption is drawing nigh!

God bless.
