Knowing Islam by Its Fruits

Predicting the rise of false prophets as we near the end of the Age of Grace our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made this observation about the nature of false prophets and the religion they espouse: You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? (Matthew 7:16). In this parable Jesus uses the analogy of “fruits” to refer to the behavior and life of false prophets. Fruits – are a common metaphor in both the Old and New Testaments – represent the outward manifestation of a persons’ faith and are a good indicator of their behavior and their works. The visible outgrowth reveals the nature of that which is within. Examining the behavior of those claiming to be a prophet of God reveals the nature of their prophecy; if their behavior is not pious one should not expect their words or works to be. False prophets will not produce good fruits.
Contrary to what we are being sold in the West, Islam is a totalitarian, violent, hate-filled, pseudo-religion designed to subjugate the entire world. There is a reason that Islam is in conflict with other faiths wherever they intersect. Noted Islam scholar, the late Professor Bernard Lewis, observed that “Islam has bloody borders.” That reason is the nature and history of Islam’s prophet Muhammad. Studying the Islamic trilogy consisting of the Qur’an, the ahadith (plural of hadith) consisting of the sayings and doings of Muhammad as recorded by those who knew him, and the sira or biology of Muhammad, a portrait emerges of a deeply flawed human who fabricated his pseudo-religion by grafting elements of Judaism and Christianity onto the pagan, moon-god worship of 7th Century Arabia.
The trilogy is rife with exhortations of hatred towards infidels (especially Jews who rejected Muhammad’s claim that he was a prophet) and violence against them. As Muhammad gained power his “revelations” from his faux-deity Allah justified the most horrific violence against innocents whose only crime was to identify a fraud when they saw one and refuse to accept his claims. The history of Islam reveals the fruits of Muhammad evidenced by wholesale slaughter of those he conquered, often by beheading, and the orgies of rape and enslavement of surviving women and children.
The modern incarnation of Muhammad’s fruits are evident in the turmoil of the Middle East. The toppling of dictators in Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt, currently underway in Syria and beginning to stir in Jordan, was euphemistically called the Arab Spring. Western countries hoped that the popular uprisings that began in 2011 would lead to democratic reforms across the Middle East. Instead, the power vacuum that resulted was filled by Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood and groups embodying complementary salafist sentiments. The Salafist undercurrent in Islam is a fundamentalist Sunni school of thought that looks to the early leaders of the Muslim faith for inspiration. They believe that the example set by Mohammed and his companions is how society should operate. Stuck in a 7th Century culture and mindset, salafist treatment of women can be deeply misogynist and incompatible with contemporary life. A case in point is the dramatic increase in sexual harassment and rape of women during the Arab Spring. A high profile example was the rape of American TV reporter Lara Logan. On Feb. 11, 2011 Logan was in Cairo covering the city’s celebration of the regime change in Egypt. She was conducting interviews in Tahrir Square when she became separated from her crew and was sexually and physically assaulted by a mob. Her ordeal ended only after a group of Egyptian women and soldiers rescued her.
Groups that track such trends in Egypt claim that sexual harassment, ranging from verbal taunts to groping victims up to and including kidnapping, enslavement, rape and trafficking, is now at an all time high. Sexual harassment spiked following the ouster of the country’s former secular dictator Hosni Mubarak in 2011. While kidnapping, rape and forced conversion of Coptic Christian girls to Islam occurred prior to the Arab Spring, since the revolution cases have increased while recovery of women and girls has decreased. The disappearance of at least 550 Coptic Christian girls in Egypt has been documented in the last five years.
Some observers blame the Muslim Brotherhood’s climb to power for the increase in sexual harassment. According to this narrative, once secular regimes were toppled fundamentalist urges that denigrate and control all aspects of a woman’s life were unleashed. The fundamentalist view, often called Salafism, justifying that control stems from Islamic teachings regarding the status of women. Enshrined in the tenets of Islam are such beliefs as the need for female genital mutilation in which women are circumcised by slitting the clitoris or sometimes skinning it, and in extreme cases, completely excising it. This barbaric practice stems from the sayings of Muhammad contained in the ahadith that if women enjoy sex they will become unchaste and whores. The impulse to dominate and control women is central to the fundamentalist view of the Islamic faith. It includes morals offenses called khalwat that occur if unrelated males and females are alone in close proximity, even at home. It is a serious morals offense that can lead to public caning in some Islamic countries and honor killings of the female. In Muslim majority nations, khalwat is often used against non-Muslim women refusing to veil themselves or violating other Islamic tenets such as venturing out in public when not accompanied by an adult male relative.
Some of the teachings Salafists follow that affirm the denigration of women include: men are superior to women; a woman’s testimony is court is half as good as a man’s; women are stupid and can’t be trusted; women are unclean; menstruation is an “illness and a sign that women are stupid”; women are ungrateful temptresses; and women are the majority of the inhabitants of hell.
Unfortunately, the problem is broader than the ugly side of the Arab Spring described above and the problem is not restricted to Muslim majority nations. Many Muslim religious leaders in the West are of the salafist strain. Their view of infidel females is a contributing factor in Muslim male violence against Western women. Public statements by prominent imams place the blame for rape on the victims. This has led to an epidemic of rapes of non Muslim women in Europe. The phenomenon has become so widespread that some observers refer to it as rape jihad. Rape Jihad involves the sexual assault of vulnerable young infidel girls, especially in Western countries. Numerous verses in the Qur’an justify this activity including as a way to emulate the Prophet Muhammad. In these verses, Allah the god of Islam, says that Muslims are allowed to capture infidel women and to rape them.
Reacting to the conviction of Muslim men in the vicious gang rape of a 16 year old infidel Australian girl in 2006, the Grand Mufti of Australia, Sheikh Taj el-din Al Hilali, said in a Friday mosque sermon:
If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it … whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat? The uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred.
Abduljalil Sajid of the Muslim Council of Britain supported al-Hilali’s remarks, saying that they had been taken out of context and affirmed that “loose women, like prostitutes,” encourage immorality in men. In a similar vein, an Islamic Mufti in Copenhagen, Shahid Mehdi, sparked a political outcry after publicly declaring that women who refuse to wear headscarves are “asking for rape.” The mufti’s attitude towards Western women is not unique . According to one Muslim immigrant to Scandanavia, “It is not as wrong raping a Swedish girl as raping an Arab girl,” he said, “The Swedish girl gets a lot of help afterwards, and she had probably (had sexual intercourse) before, anyway. But the Arab girl will get problems with her family. For her, being raped is a source of shame. It is important that she retains her virginity until she marries”.
The widespread devaluation and dehumanization of Swedish girls by Muslim men is typified by a 21 year old Muslim immigrant. In Sweden for only two years, he was arrested for cutting Swedish girls with knives on the dance floor. He admits that he has a low opinion of Swedish females, or “whores” as he calls them. He awaits prosecution suspected of cutting eight girls in several pubs. He also is charged with raping a girl at a private party and with sexually harassing another girl in the apartment. Several witnesses claim that the 21 year old has said that he hates Swedish women.
In interviews with Muslim immigrants to Sweden, comments like, “It is far too easy to get a Swedish whore…girl, I mean;” said one Muslim, adding that “Many immigrant boys (a common term used to describe Muslims) have Swedish girlfriends when they are teenagers. But when they get married, they get a proper woman from their own culture who has never been with a boy. That’s what I am going to do. I don’t have too much respect for Swedish girls.”
The number of resident aliens, Muslims from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia, dominate the group of rape suspects. According to police arrest statistics, almost half of rape perpetrators are Muslim immigrants. In Norway and Denmark, “non-Western immigrants,” which frequently means Muslims, are grossly overrepresented on rape statistics. In Oslo, Norway, immigrants were involved in two out of three rape charges in 2001. The numbers in Denmark were the same and even higher in the city of Copenhagen with three out of four rape charges involving Muslim men. Sweden has a larger immigrant, including Muslim, population than any other country in northern Europe. The numbers there are likely to be at least as bad as with its Scandinavian neighbors.
One of the best known Swedish Muslim serial-rapists was Mehdi Tayeb who had sex with over 130 women (and 2 men) in Sweden. Some were seduced using alcohol and others were drugged with date rape drugs. When Swedish police were closing in, Tayeb fled back to Iran. Similarly, seven Kurdish Muslim immigrants are suspects in a gang rape case against a 16 year old Norwegian girl in Oslo in December, 2006. One of the men charged is suspected of being involved in another gang rape of a girl in Oslo ten days later.
The Muslim rape of infidels is not restricted to Scandinavia. In 2012 a group of 6 Muslims was convicted of sex trafficking under-age teenage girls in Rochdale, near Manchester, UK. Called the Rochdale sex trafficking gang, the group was convicted of trafficking 47 girls for sexual exploitation. were identified as victims of child sexual exploitation during the police investigation. One gang member was a religious studies teacher at a mosque and a married father-of-five.
The arrest of the Rochdale gang was followed by the arrest of another group of Muslim males also involved in a sex trafficking ring of underage infidel girls in the Rochdale area. In May 2012 British police arrested nine Muslim men between 24 and 38-years-old on suspicion of sexual activity with a child. About a dozen more cases involving Asian Muslims in Northern England are under investigation. The problem is so widespread in Britain that a 2012 report by the deputy children’s commissioner reported that a third of all reported child sexual abuse cases are committed by Muslims from the Pakistan region, yet they constitute only 7% of the population.
In the United States, five Iraqi nationals were arrested in the brutal rape of a Colorado Springs, CO woman in August, 2012. One of the investigators described it as one of the “most horrific sexual assaults I’ve seen in my career.” Two men were charged with the actual crime, while all five were charged as accessories. Similarly, in Austin, TX police arrested two men from Saudi Arabia for raping a woman. The victim said she had asked the men for help locating her friend’s apartment, according to police. The victim may have been intoxicated when she asked two men who were outside the apartment building to help her find her friend’s apartment. According to the victim, the two men took her into the building under the pretense that they were taking her to the friend’s apartment. Instead, they took her to the apartment of one of the suspect’s and raped her.
A more organized sex trafficking ring involved twenty-nine people associated with Muslim Somali gangs in Minneapolis and St. Paul. According to an indictment unsealed in 2011, ring involved three Minneapolis-based gangs, all connected include the Somali Outlaws, the Somali Mafia and the Lady Outlaws. The men and women charged were either gang members or associates of the gangs, the indictment said. Some of the victims, that also included Muslim girls, were as young as 12 years old. One 12 year old victim described at trial being taken to several apartments in around suburban Minneapolis to have sex with other Somali men for money, sometimes as little as $40.
Other organized rapes occurred in Australia where a group of Lebanese Muslim gang rapists from south-western Sydney hunted their victims on the basis of their ethnicity and subjected them to hours of degrading, dehumanizing torture. The young women, and girls as young as 14, were “sluts” and “Aussie pigs”, the rapists said. After taking an oath on the Qur’an, the Pakistani Muslim man – known only as MSK – told the court he had committed four attacks on girls as young as 13. MSK is already serving a 22-year jail term for leading his three younger brothers in a gang rape of two other young Sydney girls in 2002.
One explanation for this phenomenon is the example set by Muhammad raping his slave girls; a divinely ordained practice in the Qur’an and sunna with surahs like 4:24, “And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess.” The term “right hand possesses” refers to slaves. In Western countries, particularly in Europe’s restive Muslim enclaves, young Muslim men have understood this as permitting the rape of non-Muslim women who venture out uncovered by a hijab, or unescorted. Observers theorize that many of the Muslims in Europe view themselves as a conquering force and that European women are simply war booty in accordance with Islamic law. Accordingly, Western women are not so much regarded by most Muslims as individuals, but as “their women,” the women who “belong” to hostile infidels. Australian Muslim moderate leader Tanveer Ahmed acknowledged this view: …in a large number of Muslim households, young men will be taught that white women are cheap and easy. It is extrapolated to a much bigger scale, for it symbolises for them a moral corruption endemic in free societies, the kind they believe has led to a breakdown in families. Their views have some overlap with social conservatives in general, who see human freedoms, especially with regard to sexuality, as having gone too far.
Although the method of operation of modern day Jihadi rapists is different from Muhammad’s 7th century conquests, the purpose is the same: pleasing Allah and terrorizing kafirs. By capturing and raping infidel woman, the mujahids are not only following an important sunnah and getting sawab, they also get extra blessings for impregnating a kafir girl with Muslim baby.

In Russia, Indira Dzetskelova, the mother of one of the child hostages in Beslan, Russia, reports that “several 15-year-old girls were raped by the “Muslim terrorists.” Her daughter “heard their terrible cries and screams when those monsters took them away (to be raped).” There are two things the massacre in Beslan has in common with the ongoing massacres in Darfur: both are examples of Islamic Jihad terrorism and both are characterized by rape. And in Jammu, Kashmir, India, foreign Islamist militants are kidnapping and gang-raping young Hindu girls.
The rape of infidels is an Islamist tactic as old as the religion itself. In Islamic theology Muhammad is known as “uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil”, an Arabic phrase loosely translated meaning, the ‘perfect human.’ It is a term used to describe Muhammad as a model of behavior to be emulated. The Qur’an affirms Muhammad’s status: ‘And you stand on an exalted standard of character’. Muslims believe he possessed the best and noblest qualities of the perfect man. Many salafists continue to believe that raping nonbelievers is theologically justified because of Muhammad’s conduct after the hijra, or emigration to Medina when Islam changed from a relatively benign and peaceful religion to an aggressive, violent and warlike faith. As secular dictators continue to fall in the Middle East and are replaced by the Muslim Brotherhood, and as many Western imams continue to espouse salafist interpretations of the faith, rape will continue to be used as a weapon of domination and control.
