Times of the Signs?

By Tim Cameron

So many who are watching, praying and longing for Jesus future shout of “Come up here” are looking at signs around us that are jumping out from scripture, so much so that this could be considered as some have said “the time of the signs.” Some are obvious, some are sketchy or far fetched and stretched.

As for me, I just want to cut to the chase.

Ok, well I’m all about keeping it real, keeping it simple. Number one: Jesus told us that when the fig tree (Israel) blossomed in the desert that THAT generation would not pass away! Before 1948 there was a time that Israel ceased to exist as a nation…up until that time I can understand how there were those who believed that the church had “replaced” Israel. But once the rebirth of modern Israel took place in 1948, I have got to believe that anyone who had a Bible and studied it would have considered that a monumental wake- up call:

“Oh snap, Israel’s a nation again!!” Holy Moly! Jesus said that would happen and that it would be a major signal that the end of the age (Church Age) was at hand and that “the time of the gentiles” was being fulfilled! Daniel had said of this same time in history, that things would change in a major way in relation to how people traveled and there would be a dramatic increase in knowledge.

For thousands of years travel was with horses, donkeys and camels but then, boom, in the same century of Israel’s rebirth we see the crazy changes in travel. You can literally ship packages around the world in three days and can talk instantly globally through text, tweet or chat. Knowledge increasing? Satellite TV’s in SUVS with GPS talking to you while you listen to a song just downloaded seconds ago via iTunes in the UK…need I say more?

The City Limit Sign!!

I live very near Branson Mo, a place many travel to as a vacation destination. When you get “close” to Branson, there are signs EVERYWHERE advertising your soon arrival. But most of the signs are advertising things on the fringe or about and around Branson and not Branson itself.

Blood Moons? RFID chips? Earthquakes and rumors of War?

ISRAEL BEING PRESSURED TO DIVIDE THE PROMISED LAND FOR PEACE!!!

Now that is like the City Limit sign. I’m looking for a “city who’s builder and maker is the Lord” Who promised “I go to prepare a place for you, and I will come and receive you unto Myself, that where I AM you may be also.”

Jesus said in describing our arrival into that “time” it would be “as it was in the days of Noah” and “as it was in the days of Lot.”

“They were eating, drinking and given in marriage” “And they knew not until the flood came and took them all the way.”

Paul exhorted us saying:

“But you are NOT children of the dark that day should over take you.”

I feel like a kid going on vacation seeing so many things happening before my eyes no doubt, but the thing that has me on the edge of my seat?

Is God’s Word. “When you see ALL these things LOOK UP for redemption draws near.”

John Kerry is failing at the moment of convincing Israel of the very thing that will usher in The Day of the Lord, but the urgent push from Rome and the Pope to go to Israel with a “CRY FOR PEACE,” should have us all “watching, praying and sounding an alarm.”

Romans 13: 11 This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. 13 Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. 14 Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

Maranatha,

Tim Cameron
