Are You Rapture Ready?

Are You Rapture Ready?
One of the most important questions people can ask today is “Are you rapture ready?” The reason for this is that with all the end times signs converging around us, it is important that people ask themselves this question. If Jesus were to call home believers to Heaven today, would you go up in the rapture or would you be left behind to meet the Antichrist and go through the terrible seven year tribulation period? This is a question everyone must ask themselves as their eternal destiny and salvation is at stake.
Who Goes in the Rapture?
Sometime soon, Christian believers, dead and alive, will be “caught up” and transformed to meet Jesus Christ in the air and to go to Heaven with Him. The rapture of the church is for believers in Jesus Christ who have made a genuine faith decision to accept the blood atonement of Jesus Christ on the Cross. The soon to be sudden disappearance or departure (harpazo) of church age believers is often referred to as the rapture or “blessed hope” as it is God’s promise to spare believers of the wrath to come. The Bible describes the rapture as happening in a “twinkling of an eye” which has been determined to be a fraction of a second.
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ…” (1 Thess. 5:9).
As we can see from above the church has the distinct promise from the Lord to be saved from the time and place of his wrath. What exactly is the time and place of God’s wrath? The answer is found in what is known as the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” which is another term for the seven year tribulation period. This time period is described in the Bible as the worst 7 year period ever seen on the Earth. However, the church will be called up to Heaven before the dreaded and terrible Day of the Lord or the seven year tribulation period.
How to go in the Rapture
People who have not accepted the free gift of salvation from God will be destined to go through this terrible time of God’s wrath that will be poured out on Earth for unbelieving Israel and unrepentant sinners. The purpose of the Tribulation period is to punish sinners as well as call unbelievers to come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Sadly, many people today will not choose to be rapture ready, but instead they will choose to be wicked and unrepentant to God who calls people to salvation through Jesus Christ. God has only one place that he has said that He will meet sinful men and save them. And that is at the foot of the Cross.
Instead, many will try to earn, buy, work towards, etc. their way to Heaven without going through the Cross. This is simply foolishness and it leads to a dead end. These people who do that will not be rapture ready when the time comes for Jesus to return.
Don’t delay your decision for Jesus
The purpose of this article is to help people come to the loving and saving faith of the Lord Jesus. We hope this will cause people to in turn be rapture ready for when God gives the signal to Jesus to go and get His church. Being rapture ready is very simple and it is strongly encouraged that people do not delay in making a decision for Jesus Christ.
With a genuine heart and a cry out to God for mercy and forgiveness of their sins, one can be saved through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Simply repeating the words of a sinner’s prayer will not save you. You must be sincere and willing to call on the name of the Lord.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
The Lord gave his all on the Cross for us in order to pay the price of sin, a price that none of us could pay on our own. So in return, Jesus wants nothing less than all of us.
The Bible says that the day of salvation is today, so please do not put off this very important decision for Christ. Your eternal destiny weighs in the balance. Make yourself rapture ready today by accepting the free offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. Waiting until tomorrow could end up being too late as Jesus could return at the rapture anytime now.
We hope to see you in the clouds.
