The Rapture Report – Are the COVID-19 Vaccines the Mark of the Beast?

With the COVID-19 vaccines making their way out to the public we have seen an unprecedented cooperation between the federal government and the Big Pharma to try to tackle the pandemic situation. The effort made by President Trump to get a vaccine out to the American people has been a Herculean effort in what was dubbed Operation Warp Speed. Never before had such a big undertaking taken place to get a vaccine from development to production to consumer in such a short amount of time.

With the government and the Big Pharma companies working hard to get the COVID-19 vaccines out to the public many questions have begun to pop up in regards to the vaccines. There has been a lot of information as well as “misinformation” about the vaccines. While I am not an expert on the technical issues of vaccines, I will not be trying to determine the medical merits of each vaccine in this article.

One of the most talked about aspects of the COVID-19 vaccinations is whether they would become “mandatory” in order for people to participate in society. I have seen many articles online from various places that have suggested that the COVID-19 vaccines might be the coming Mark of the Beast. The range of opinions has been very wide from some saying that it is and others saying that it is a precursor to the Mark of the Beast.

There have been articles about some vaccine companies trying to place some sort of “quantum dot tattoos” in connection with their vaccines. The thought is to have a way to record whether a person is vaccinated or not. I think this has been one of the main reasons that the belief that the vaccines were becoming the Mark of the Beast has gained legs and taken off in a lot of people’s minds.

In order to look at the COVID-19 vaccines and see if they related to Bible prophecy, we need to take a look at the big picture that Bible prophecy paints.

The Mark of the Beast is seen in the Book of Revelation during the Tribulation period. The Tribulation period is the last 7 years on planet Earth before the visible return of Jesus Christ at the Second Coming.

We know from the Book of Revelation that God will put His “Seal of the Living God” on the foreheads 144,000 Jewish believers during the Tribulation period to protect them from the judgments coming on the earth. The “Seal of the Living God” will allow them to witness and proclaim the Gospel to the world while the horrors of the Tribulation period are taking place. I believe the 144,000 will be Messianic Jewish believers who will be called upon to witness to the world after the Church is taken up in the rapture.

As we know Satan is the master counterfeiter. Satan will during the Tribulation try to “counterfeit” the miracles of God. Some of the things that God has done like the Virgin birth, Seal of the Living God, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and many more will see their “counterfeits” being done by Satan during the Tribulation period. For example, Jesus was born of a virgin according the scriptures whereby the Holy Spirit brought forth the miracle of the virgin birth. It is believed by some that Satan will also somehow bring forth his “seed” possibly in the form of the Antichrist by some sort of “virgin birth counterfeit”. See Genesis 3:15.

The ”Seal of the Living God” can be seen to be counterfeited by Satan with the coming “Mark of the Beast”. Whereby God’s “seal” protects those with it, Satan’s “seal” will doom those with it.

Also, the miracle of the resurrection of Jesus Christ will be “counterfeited” by Satan when he causes the Antichrist to be raised again after suffering the fatal head wound. Satan has always tried to “counterfeit” what God has done. This is part of his plan to try to claim that he is like God.

Anyway, going back to the COVID-19 vaccines, we are seeing people becoming nervous that they maybe taking the “Mark of the Beast” without knowing it. I do not believe that it is possible to take the Mark of the Beast without knowing it. Those who take the Mark of the Beast will do some intentionally. They will be making a conscious decision to follow Satan while all Hell is being released on Earth with the judgments of God. Being that the Mark of the Beast is an issue that arises during the Tribulation period, we do not have any concern with that here in this time before the rapture of the church and the 7-year Tribulation period. It is not possible to take the Mark of the Beast now.

The Mark of the Beast is described in the Bible as being on the “forehead or hand” whereas the COVID-19 vaccines are given in the typical upper arm area near the shoulder. This alone does not meet the biblical definition of where the Mark of the Beast will be positioned on a person’s body. There are no vaccines that I am aware of that are given in the forehead or the hand. Even if there are, we are not in the 7-year Tribulation period anyway. Furthermore, it is also believed that the Mark of the Beast could be a tattoo or other permanent “mark” on the body that signifies that the individual has made a decision for the Antichrist (Satan).

Many people who hear talk about “mandatory” vaccines become understandably concerned about the coming Mark of the Beast. There has been talk that the “quantum dot tattoos” that could be used to store vaccination and medical records under the skin could be a precursor to the Mark of the Beast. While it is true that technology companies are working hard to be able to come up with ways to identify people who have been vaccinated in order to allow them to “participate fully in society” I believe that this is just a logical progression of medical and technology that does not have any “evil” intentions. It is certainly understandable to want to have a way to know if an individual has been vaccinated or not when it comes to COVID-19 or any other medical situation. We have long heard about the RFID chip and its ability to hold data under the skin. There are many technological advances that are taking place that may or may not have anything to do with the coming Mark of the Beast. Right now, I do not see anything that indicates that the COVID-19 vaccines are the Mark of the Beast or a precursor to them.

The Bible tells us that pestilence will be on the rise and will increase in the end times. We have seen this taking place with the various forms of pestilence that have taken place in just the last 20 years. We have seen the bird flu, swine flu, SARS, Ebola, and numerous other “pestilence” related issues. This is to be expected when we look at the “big picture” of Bible prophecy.

While it is true that in some places that COVID-19 vaccines could become mandatory such as with front-line workers, etc. I think a lot of the hoopla surrounding the COVID-19 vaccines is causing unnecessary worry among believers who will not be here for the coming Mark of the Beast. Some could point to the fact that “mandatory vaccines” could be prepping society to give up their freedoms in order to do what is best for society. And that does appear to be a valid concern on the surface. But we also have to remember that since the age of vaccines has started there are many vaccines that are required already for us to participate in society. For example, it is common for schools to require vaccinations before children can come to class. This is to help prevent the outbreak of measles, mumps, etc. There is nothing “evil” about this. These are simply prudent and responsible ways to ensure everyone’s safety.

While we should always be looking and paying attention to things around us in these last days, we need to first focus on Jesus Christ. Whatever the world brings to us before the rapture of the church, we can have confidence through Jesus Christ that He has overcome the world.

As a final note, we should point out that everyone should make a decision on any vaccines only after consulting with their regular medical doctor. People should not get their medical information from supposed “experts” running small websites on the Internet. Please, always consult with your regular medical provider who is most likely to understand your unique medical history in order to make the best determination about whether to take a COVID-19 vaccine or not. Remember, Google is NOT a medical source.

As with all things in the end times, we are in constant state of dynamic change. It is important to follow what the Bible says regarding the end times. With the exploding use of computers and Internet technology, we are seeing advances in technology that were simply dreams years ago. It is important to keep up with the advances of technology as we know that eventually the Antichrist will be able to control all buying or selling on the planet. But we need not “borrow” worry by creating fear where it does not exist.

Be like the Bereans of ancient times and test all things to see if they are true. Sometimes all it takes to find out the truth is to search the scriptures.
