Media Slowly Pivoting From Blaming Spa Shootings On Racism to Blaming It On Christianity

The media’s SS Narrative is a bad ship. It doesn’t float, takes on too much water, and has a really terrible turning radius.
But after a few days of trying to sell the spa shootings as a racist hate crime, the SS Narrative is slowly pivoting, with some help from a few echo chamber tugboats from blaming the shootings on racism to blaming it on religion.
It’s at least somewhat better since there has been precisely zero evidence that the spa shooter was a racist, but there is evidence he was religious.
Of course, that puts the media in the awkward position of furiously insisting that the Muslim supermarket mass shootings had nothing to do with religion, but that the spa shootings by a Christian did.
The spa shooter’s denomination and church did not at any point tell him that it was acceptable to shoot people. It told him to control himself.
Islam however has spent a good deal of time telling its members to kill things and people they don’t like. At least when those things are non-Muslim or the wrong kind of Muslim.
But, as all good media people (and people who listen to the media know), nothing a Muslim terrorist does has anything to do with Islam, but everything that members of disfavored groups do should be blamed on their identity group.
Thus white people always commit crimes because of whiteness. Christians and Jews commit crimes because of their religions.
It’s okay. There’s no bias to see here. Just the SS Narrative flooding the zone with its latest narrative.
