Leftist Group Offers Venmo Payments to Harass Supreme Court Justices
By Daniel Greenfield

Twitter, eager to censor any conservative story, has no problem with this.

ShutDownDC, a liberal advocacy group in Washington, D.C., said on Friday that it will offer up to $250 to service industry workers in the district for every sighting of the justices who overturned Roe v. Wade.

I’ve written about ShutDownDC before and its entanglement with the entire leftist\liberal establishment.

#ShutdownDC is part of the whole shadowy nexus of anti-Trump and radical environmental groups that has operated alongside AOC’s DSA, unions and assorted lefty groups and establishment organizations. ShutdownDC was linked to the Jane Fonda environmental protests. It’s one of those groups that’s involved in pretty much any significant lefty D.C. protests. So this goes right back to the entire radical activist complex. Will they be held accountable? Not under Biden, obviously.

ShutdownDC had actively plotted to stop the Supreme Court from convening.

The Tuesday night briefing included more than 60 activists and was led by four or five organizers, some of whom concealed their identities. The presentation included a detailed “tactical” plan for blocking access to the Court’s underground parking garage, which is the primary entry and exit point for employees and justices.

Now it’s moved on to personal harassment.

The group is specifically targeting Kavanaugh and fellow Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Chief Justice John Roberts.

What they’re saying: “DC Service Industry Workers… If you see Kavanaugh, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Coney Barrett or Roberts DM us with the details!,” ShutDownDC said in a tweet.

“We’ll Venmo you $50 for a confirmed sighting and $200 if they’re still there 30 mins after your message.”

Twitter has not responded on if the tweet from ShutDownDC violates any of its terms of service guidelines.

It obviously does, but just as with previous doxxing violations, it won’t take action against lefties. And now that the Musk sham collapsed, there’s no reason to even pretend.

While Twitter can claim that it’s protecting “free speech” (in an entirely one-sided fashion), Venmo is owned by PayPal and its guidelines prohibit illegal activity. I’ve reached out to its corporate media people and will update if there’s any meaningful response.

Meanwhile, it’s another example of Big Tech enabling harassment by its political allies. And in this case this isn’t mere harassment. If judges in any ordinary case were being harassed this way, those responsible would face criminal charges. If these campaigns were targeting Sotomayor, Kagan, etc, they’d be talking to the FBI.

Instead, the double standard is glaringly clear. A double standard backed by governmental and corporate authority is simply tyranny.
