“Political correctness is tyranny with manners.” -Charlton Heston

Remember back in the 1970’s when the consensus amongst the “experts” was that the world was definitely headed for another ice-age? Or in the 1980’s when ozone holes and fluorocarbons were all the rage? Then there was global Al Gore and the global warming alarmists in the 1990’s-2000s? So now that things have cooled down, the “experts” are not sure whether it’s warming or cooling, so they’re going with the catchall phrase of “climate change”. All this sound painfully familiar? It seems as if it’s been an endless onslaught of sloganeering to save ourselves from ourselves.

The Birth of PC

Karl Heinrich Marx was a German Ashkenazi Jew, whose father had converted from Judaism to Lutheranism prior to Karl’s birth. Karl grew up in the Protestant system, but later converted to atheism. He, along with Friedrich Engels, would later develop a socio-economic philosophy that pitted the working class against the ruling elite known as Marxist socialism. Marx modeled this from the French Revolution as the worldview for class struggle.

In subsequent years, Marxism would be tried in different national revolutions as the model (Russia, China, and Germany) with disastrous results. In the end, hundreds of millions of people perished either through war, famine, or governmental incompetence as each tried to create a perfect socialist utopia.

In 1923, a group of Marxist devotee’s founded the Institute of Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany in an attempt to apply Marxism to the culture at large. It was modeled after the original based in Moscow to promote socialism on a wider scale. In a twist of irony, those Marxist-Socialists liked the idea of Marxism more than the reality of it, and fled Germany in 1933 to escape a rising Hitler and his National Socialists Party (Nazi’s).

After immigrating to the US, they founded and renamed their institute as the Frankfurt School and subsequently began poisoning American public schools and universities with sloganeering, sensitivity sessions, affirmative action, and the social gospel. The phrase ‘make love, not war’ comes direct from Herbert Marcuse, a Socialist revolutionary from the Frankfurt School.

The Frankfurt School taught the teachers, and then sent them out into the major universities (Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, and Berkley) who then brainwashed a generation would-be school teachers. These then went on to large and small towns across the nation to schools to teach children. Their children grew up and had their own children with varying degrees of instilled socialism, and so on an so forth. Instead of calling it what it really is, ‘cultural Marxism’ was renamed ‘Political Correctness’ to make it easier to swallow and to hide its true roots. The cultural slide towards a docile, emasculated, and pliant nation was already in the making 60 years ago. From the American Thinker;

“Marx’s key concept was “class struggle.” That’s where PC comes in. PC seeks to impose a uniformity of thought and behavior, just like Marxism, on all Americans and is, therefore, quite totalitarian in nature. PC is, in concept, similar to Marxism, but its focus is upon culture, rather than economics, as the class struggle environment. PC, just like Marxism, forces people to live a lie by denying reality. PC takes a political philosophy and says that on the basis of the chosen philosophy, certain things must be true, and reality that contradicts its “truth” must be forbidden –”

This is in large part the contributing factor to the lunacy we see going on in America today. Normal folk watching the news scratch their heads at how blindly ignorant politicians, actors, and media types are for completely ignoring reality, and going with the flow of the mantra being fed to the public via the nightly news. In true Marxist fashion, if you question or oppose the going political lunacy, you’re quickly labeled either a: bigot, hater, ___a-phobic, low-brow knuckle dragger, racists, etc. This isn’t so much emotion, as it is a technique used by Marxists to silence anyone who disagrees.

The PC crowd is clever. They know there are no useful legal tests about hurt feelings and inciting hate. They enact nice-sounding laws, build bureaucracies and wait for them to blossom and bludgeon free speech. They have effectively co-opted Islamic-style oppression to prohibit debate; be it about Islam or anything else they wish to fence off from free speech.

The other trick is to quietly exclude certain people from the national discourse. It is best summed up by a German word: totschweigtaktik. To be totsched is to be subjected to death by silence: books, ideas, people that challenge the status quo are simply ignored. (Source)

The Rub

“Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.” – Karl Marx

Karl Marx was an atheist, and modeled his philosophical and economical world view as an atheist. It would follow that anyone who considers themselves a devotee of Marxism would by default embrace atheism. One need only look at the modern Democratic Party today to see this.

Their party platform holds to these (just to name a few): the removal of Biblical Christianity from the public sphere, abortion and eugenics, homosexual marriage (or the redefinition of traditional marriage), class and racial warfare, redistribution of wealth, welfare dependence, and socialized medicine. They’ve successfully been able to rewrite history to show that they were somehow responsible for the Civil Rights movement, when in fact; they had stood in direct opposition to it.

We’ve had one series of campaign slogans after another bombarding the American public either from environmental alarmists who seek control of all natural resources, or destructive cultural issues which seeks to destroy the family unit (which is a key goal of Marxism).

To date, there has never been a communist regime that embraced true biblical Christianity. Either they promote worship of the state, or to the leader of the state.

They might tolerate a state-sanctioned religion, but you can guarantee that it was heavily censored to the point of ineffectiveness. One cannot embrace Christianity and Socialism/Atheism at the same time.

Marxism is a cultural and economic philosophy birthed from a Secular Humanist world-view, and it has no use for Jesus Christ or the Gospel of Salvation. To embrace that as a “Christian” would mean that one is either woefully ignorant of scripture, or one is intentionally abusing the text to cling to an agenda such as the social gospel.

After more than 70 years of Political Correctness being propagandized in our public schools and universities, it makes perfect sense to see our modern day federal bureaucracy turning its back on the foundational worldview (Judeo-Christian) that gave it that freedom in the first place.

Satan hates the truth, because he knows it will set you free. The truth is only found in Jesus Christ, and when you understand your need for Him and salvation, it will truly set you free. The solitary goal of Satan is to keep you from the truth, and he will use whatever he has too to do that, whether that is atheism, socialism, evolution, eugenics, Islam, religion, work, pride, tradition, or whatever. Jesus had this to say to the religious leaders of His day:

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44 NKJV

Philosophical worldviews are not just empty rhetoric. Ideas carry weight, and that weight has been attempting to crush the Christian for millennia. The Pharisee’s could not tolerate it, and put Jesus, Stephen, and all of the disciples save John, to death because of it.

The pagan Roman Empire ruthlessly persecuted the early church. Islam has either killed or forced conversions upon millions. The Roman Catholic Church killed millions through their Inquisitions. Atheism in the wrapped guise of state-worship of fascism, socialism, or communism has killed hundreds of millions. Margaret Sanger, whose views on eugenics influenced the Nazis, founded Planned Parenthood and to date has taken the lives of over 50 million babies and an untold number of mothers. Abortion is a byproduct of eugenics, which came about as a mix between Darwinian evolution and Marxist socialism. Bottom line is, ideas have consequences and bad ideas, have disastrous consequences.

Because political correctness is a lie, operating in the imaginary, lathered in insanity, it cannot contend against the truth in the market place of ideas. The truth is that the American system was founded largely by Christian men, upon Christian principles and ideals. Freedom, capitalism, and liberty has flourished here because Christianity is the truth, and welcomes all to challenge its validity in the arena of ideas. Atheism, Marxism, and Islam has to muzzle opposing worldviews in order to survive. They do not tolerate dissenting opinions or investigation into their claims, because if they did, they would be crushed. Satan is increasingly blinding the minds of those who reject the Gospel. Political correctness is just one more, in a long line of proofs that we are in the last days, and that our redemption draws near.

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32
