Confidence in Chaos
By Pete Garcia
“…Grey Zone warfare’ aims to destroy one’s enemy from within, by creating explosive situations through communal riots, organised violence, antigovernmental agitations, spreading disinformation and sparking sub-nationalism. Primarily, it exploits the inner vulnerabilities and weaknesses of the adversary. It is also called War by Other Means (WOM) or Alternative forms of war (AFW).” (Source)
There is a famous line from the 1995 movie The Usual Suspects that goes something like this – the greatest trick the devil ever pulled, was in convincing the world he didn’t exist. This was actually a paraphrase from a much older message first given in Philadelphia nearly 166 years earlier.
“One of the most striking proofs of the personal existence of Satan, which our times afford us, is found in the fact, that he has so influenced the minds of multitudes in reference to his existence and doings, as to make them believe that he does not exist; and that the hosts of Demons or Evil Spirits, over whom Satan presides as Prince, are only the phantacies of the brain, some halucination of mind. Could we have a stronger proof of the existence of a mind so mighty as to produce such results?” – Pastor William Ramsey, “Spiritualism, a Satanic Delusion, and a Sign of the Times” message, 1856
Both the quote and the sentiment have garnered a lot of recycling over the years. Probably because it’s got such a ring of truth to it, it’s hard to deny. Nevertheless, I’d like to further expand upon this idea of absolute deception and say, the greatest trick globalists and leftists ever pulled, was to convince the world we weren’t already in World War III. The truth is we have been in the third world war since the 1960s; it’s just not the kind of war anyone was expecting.
So deceived were the masses that they would have never known they were even under assault, had one overly-progressive Barack H. Obama not run for the highest office in the country. His subsequent appointment to the office of President, and the damage he wrought in eight years, showed just how corrupt the government had become. In direct contradistinction, had Donald J. Trump also not run for the same office directly afterward, we’d have never known how deep the “deep state” really went.
The Domino Effect
“Now this conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every statehouse, every office of the federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet, we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved. So is the very structure of our society.
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.” – President Eisenhower, January 17, 1961
There is a blindness-quality to the level of deception we have long been under, which reminds me of the mass psychosis which fooled most of America for the better part of 40 years. During the Cold War, the overwhelming majority of geopolitical experts and defense industry war hawks had western leaders so convinced the only way to defeat the Soviet Union, was at the end of a nuclear-tipped ballistic missile. This deception, while probably not wholly intentional by everyone involved (as many of those experts believed it themselves) led to the largest nuclear and conventional arms race the world had ever seen.
However, there was, as President Eisenhower so prudently warned us of sixty-one years ago, a price to pay for the vast military-industrial complex. Our strength would come at the expense of the sacrificing of the enshrined liberties we American’s enjoyed. However, the benefit of these collective sacrifices would really only benefit those who generated the fear and then profited off the never-ending Cold War scenarios with the USSR and “Red” China. Not only did they benefit, but they have become extremely powerful; capable of influencing and driving the political and cultural direction of our nation as few other industries could. Clearly, this explains the revolving door between the CEO positions of these private corporate armies and their government counterparts.
To think of all of this power accrued in the hand of so few, from a war that could have been fought and won (quicker I might add) politically and economically, just goes to show the power of greed. That is not to say the US policies on containment, deterrence, and liberation (to prevent the dreaded Domino Effect) weren’t necessary, but outside of theoretical warcrafting and strategic gameplay, Communism, Marxism, and Socialism were already bankrupt. They’re philosophical, economic, and political failures because they don’t work. They don’t work because they aren’t realistic. They aren’t realistic because they make man out to be intrinsically altruistic. IOW, we didn’t need to propagate a forty-year Cold War to force the Russians and Chinese to shoot themselves in the foot; they were doing that by themselves already.
Thankfully, at least in regard to the geopolitical threat, there were some smart men surrounding Ronald Reagan. They convinced him that there was another way to end the Soviet Union, as they were convinced the USSR was already on the verge of economic ruin, all they needed was a little nudge. And so Pres. Reagan announce the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), to drive the US to work through the impossible and create space weapons that could neutralize the Soviet Threat. Granted, thirty years later, satellite wars and space lasers are a real thing now, but back then, it was so “pie in the sky” that to chase after it meant throwing tens of millions of rubles into non-existent technology rather than in protecting their already fragile economy.
Reagan’s critics at the time called it “Star Wars,” but it was enough to get the Soviets to spend more money and energy chasing after weapons and technology to counter it, that it tipped their economical scale to bankruptcy. By the late 1980s, all the USSR under Gorbachev could do was capitulate. First, Perestroika, then the relaxing over Eastern Europe, and before you knew it, the Iron Curtain began to crumble, and the Berlin Wall along with it.
Granted, we haven’t fought a legitimate, conventional war since the Gulf War in 1990. Conventional warfare, as opposed to Grey War, just means soldiered, uniformed armies fighting each other as recognized combatants on a field of battle. Since we have so eclipsed the rest of the world thanks to our ridiculous amounts of defense spending and the arms race (thanks to the Cold War), the enemies of the United States realized long ago they were no match for us on a regular battlefield; thus a conventional war with us was tantamount to national suicide.
Nevertheless, it wasn’t the Domino Effect of nation-states in Southeast Asia and Europe we should have been concerned about. Rather, it was the Domino Effect of US Government offices and positions falling into the orbits of the deep states we should have been. One after the other, each began to fall into the trap of corruption and subterfuge by the deep state from then until today.
This is why Grey-Zone Warfare, has become the mainstay in geopolitical conflict since at least since 2001. It has become the tactic of choice of our enemies because they cannot match us on the battlefield. I’m not even talking about the enemies we know about, like Russia, China, North Korea, Turkey, Iran, and so on. No, our greatest enemies are those who remain hidden amongst our allies and even within our own borders who would like nothing better than to see the US knocked down a few pegs. They need us off the top of the pyramid, so they can implement their agenda for global governance.
Assessment
We are in the midst of a great global civil war, not just between belligerent states, but between two power groups. Those who want global governance and will do anything to achieve it, and those who do not. For everyone else caught in the middle (i.e. the unwitting masses), we were all meant to live and die under these two great belief systems without asking too many questions. And anytime anyone tried to pull the cover back to peek behind the curtain, they are crushed, censored, and banished. We were meant simply to be cannon fodder, thrashed between these major ideological groups who think they know how to run our lives better.
For example, did anyone ask you about creating nuclear weapons? Did they ask you if we should have gone to war in Vietnam over the Gulf of Tonkin incident? Did anyone ask you about legalizing abortion on demand? Did anyone ask you whether you wanted a global carbon tax or not? Or any taxes for that matter. Did the government ask you how best to secure the border? How about mandatory C-19 vaccination passports to work, shop, or travel? Automation and/or artificial intelligence replace your position at work? Did anyone ask you how you felt about getting replaced by a machine? Did the local school board ask you how you felt about teaching promoting communism and critical race theory in your schools? Did they ask if you wanted to live under the auspices of UN Agenda 2030 or the Great Reset?
They didn’t ask you did they?
Don’t feel bad, they didn’t ask me either.
Nor do they feel obliged to.
Rather, the elites such as the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Klaus Schwabs, the Bilderbergers, Bill Gates, and only about a hundred or more other globalists and transnational organizations have and are actively promoting agendas that destroy a nation from within. They are going to make these massive, world-altering decisions and then make you live with it whether you want to or not.
Because they know better than you.
While I can’t speak for those of you in other countries reading this, for the better part of a century now, the “ignorance is bliss” mantra is how life mostly went in America. Most American’s were living fat, dumb, and happy, largely unaware of why their lives are the way they were.
I remember watching the Tonight Show with Jay Leno years ago, and they would routinely do the “man on the street” routine. This is where they would send a camera crew and reporter out to talk to random people in Los Angeles and ask basic questions that every citizen should know. And night after night, the audience laughed at how ignorant most Angelinos’ (i.e., L.A. citizens) were. I laughed too, but as a soldier, I wept for my nation as well. I remember thinking at the time, “we are doomed,” if these people are who our future has to depend on.
The late Paul Harvey once did a very sobering and poignant radio program titled “If I were the Devil.” What he had to say way back in 1965, has prophetically, and sadly, come true for America in the 21st century. To be fair, it had been true for longer than that, but what we are seeing now is the visible manifesting signs of a nation in rapid decline. A rapid decline that was brought about by decades of grey-zone warfare, designed specifically to get us to where we are now.
Although they didn’t have the phrase at the time, what Paul Harvey was describing was Grey Zone Warfare, albeit, on the spiritual level. As a reiteration of what “Grey Zone” warfare is, here is another, and perhaps different description of what it is. It is when your enemy cannot face you on the battlefield because of your superior strength, they are forced to fight you in a different way. It is war by different means, and the absolute key to its success is ensuring you don’t know a war is even being waged against you.
Conclusion
On the morning of December 7th, 1941, the general quarters’ alarm was sounded loudly when the Japanese attack was underway at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. At the sound of that alarm, the drill was to “Set Zed” for every ship. What Set Zed meant, was when the alarm sounded, the men in those old steel battleships would lock and seal every door to every compartment in those ships. That way if one part of the ship was damaged, it wouldn’t flood the entire ship and sink it. The unfortunate part was if you were trapped or stuck in one of those compartments that were sealed shut, your fate was sealed with it.
Just as that surprise attack at Pearl Harbor caught the inhabitants there unaware, so to will the Rapture of the Church catch the world unaware. At a time known only to God, He is going to sound the alarm (the Trumpet), and we are going to be removed from the earth. Once we are removed, God is going to set zed by sealing that open door of this dispensation, just as He once did in Noah’s day (Gen. 7:16). Those who remain on the earth after that point will have their fate sealed as well. While I believe Scripture most assuredly tells us that many, many, many will be saved after the Rapture, they will, however, not be a part of the Church, and their salvation is almost guaranteed to come at the cost of their heads (Rev. 20:4).
As believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, the moment we were born again, we were immediately branded as enemies of the state and thrust behind enemy lines. No, it wasn’t the government necessarily waging war against us, but the Devil himself. As the temporary manager of the affairs of the kingdoms on earth (Luke 4:5-6, 1 John 5:19), Satan has dedicated whole legions to fight against each and every one of us. He doesn’t need to send his legions to fight against the unbeliever, because they are already his. No, he dedicates his troops to fight us.
Since we’ve already won the war (because Christ already won the victory at Calvary), he has to resort to fighting us a different way; a different kind of war. He seeks to distract us with the cares of this life. He seeks to demoralize us with fake news and fake agendas. Ultimately, his sights are set on crippling our testimonies so that we either can’t share the Gospel (because we lack credibility) or we won’t share the Gospel (because we are ashamed).
If you are a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, just remember one thing, we’ve already won the biggest and grandest eternal lottery ticket (so to speak) anyone could ever win. We’ve won the Grand Prize of all Grand Prizes. If you have been born again by grace through faith in what Jesus has already done, then you are the biggest winner in the entirety of the universe.
You can take the wealthiest, most powerful, most revered historical icons of all time, and let them die in their sins, and they will go to hell. After one second in hell, they would trade everything, anything, just to have one cool sip of water. You, dear brother and sister in Christ, will spend eternity bathing in the endless grace and splendor of the realm eternal with our creator God Himself. We will never want for anything, ever. We will spend eternity creating, building, learning, and exploring vast universes we cannot even comprehend. Although we don’t see it now, and we definitely don’t feel it, never forget that day is coming, and coming soon.
For now, we fight. We fight in a war that began six thousand years ago in a Garden, where Satan deceived our progenitors. However, our warfare is not necessarily against other people, but against poisonous ideologies, false religions, and demonic doctrines. Until our catching up, we are fighting back and keeping the gates of hell closed, again, not because of what we do or who we are, but what Christ did already. In and of ourselves, we are weak, impulsive, unreliable, and momentary creatures. However, when God the Holy Spirit is given the freedom to work in us, we are unstoppable. As the Apostle John reminds us, “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
My friends, we are living in the last days. Just think of how many, for just as many centuries, have longed to see the days we are seeing now. Therefore, let us take comfort, and even confidence in God’s plan for our salvation to be alive (physically and spiritually) in these chaotic and confusing times we find ourselves.
But such is our weakness, and of God’s strength which overshadows us that we are quick to forget we are living in a constant state of war. The enemy is constantly probing our defenses to see where and when he can strike. We must never forget that our enemy is relentlessly trying to destroy us, our testimony, our faith, and our family. We must guard these things with everything we have, up to and including our very lives. Just know that any life spent doing that, is a life not lived in vain. We must stand strong in God’s might, and in His word, so we are not like mindless children tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine that passes between our ears (Eph. 4:11-16).
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” – Ephesians 6:10-20 (my emphasis)
