Imagine a world, in which nothing you say or do, read or write, buy or sell is ever done in private, but is secretly being scrutinized and fed into data machines that seek to pre-determine various outcomes based off of studied trends of a real person’s life…welcome to today.
From your Facebook likes and posts, to the books you buy off of Amazon, how much money you pull out of ATMs, or to the websites you frequent. They intercept and record every cell phone conversation, text message, and can track your movement because your cell phone always gives your location away either by GPS or by pinging the nearest cell phone tower. Free email accounts are scanned and fed into processors that not only screen your emails for trigger words, but are kept as an online dossier of each person. Currently, man can look back into the past, but cannot see into the future. This is a three-dimensional mans’ attempt to overcome that fourth dimensional shortcoming (time). But as God warned forebodingly in Genesis 11:6, mankind has the potential to do anything they put their collective minds too…if no outside supernatural force intervened.
This intrusive enterprise is called the Sentient World Simulation project, (hat tip: Canary Cry Radio). After hearing about it, so many things just seemed to come together for me and explain so much of what we are struggling with now to understand about the strange-goings on in this day and age. Although we don’t know everything about this project, we know that it is out there. We should know that science and secret governmental programs are generally 8-10 years ahead of what they choose to release to the public. Projects like this are funded by groups like the Rothschild’s/ Rockefellers/Soros…and created in secret by groups like DARPA and the NSA.
In a nutshell, this is a massive data collection and sorting system that continually feeds the electronic information of every living person into a digital construct that is continuously running…kind of like the Matrix but in reverse. In this simulated world (think Sim City), there are avatar versions of you and I, based solely off our digital fingerprints of everything we come in contact with and use on a daily basis. Ed D. touched on some of this technology already in his article about geo-tagging and smart appliances.
They are able to digitally reconstruct a computer (or internet) version of you, your family, your friends and strangers in this Matrix world. This information is continually fed by things like your grocery and shopping habits, your banking habits, your entertainment habits, and your travel habits. They know your political leanings and your religious affiliations (if you have any). They know the good, bad, and ugly of each and every one of us…and they use this to run simulation tests against to see what you and I would do in any given situation.
Based similarly off of what the military does (war-gaming), they continually run scenarios to see what would happen if EVENT A happens, or what effect EVENT B has on a particular city. In military speak; we call these COAs (Courses of Action). If the event has no information to base it off of because of its rarity, these events can be generated in the real-world so the data can be captured in this digital reality. (Think mass animal deaths, UFOs, bizarre weather patterns, and strange sounds).
Now, this egregious abuse of privacy always comes couched in the ideology of ‘your best interest at hand’. These programs always have some legitimate reason for utilization, because they meet some ‘greater need’ for the society at large…whether that is combating infectious pandemics or fighting terrorism. But what ends up happening is that they increasingly punch holes into the pillar of the Constitutions Bill of Rights, so that instead of a pillar, you have something more akin to Swiss cheese, which will with enough holes; crumble the whole thing in on itself no matter how good the intentions were.
What’s worse is that John Q. Taxpayer (you and I) are paying for these data centers to be built which are designed to be used against their own populations…for example:
“Under construction by contractors with top-secret clearances, the blandly named Utah Data Center is being built for the National Security Agency. A project of immense secrecy, it is the final piece in a complex puzzle assembled over the past decade. Its purpose: to intercept, decipher, analyze, and store vast swaths of the world’s communications as they zap down from satellites and zip through the underground and undersea cables of international, foreign, and domestic networks. The heavily fortified $2 billion center should be up and running in September 2013. Flowing through its servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases will be all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails-parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program created during the first term of the Bush administration-an effort that was killed by Congress in 2003 after it caused an outcry over its potential for invading Americans’ privacy.” (Source)
The ‘total information awareness’ program was killed by Congress in 2003, but in name only. It was just relabeled something else and is still currently being funded to this day.
It is a funny thing, but before there was an Internet, it was hard to conceivably imagine a thing such as ‘the Internet’. But now that there is an Internet, it is hard to imagine life without it. But looking back at men like HG Wells, Aldous Huxley, and George Orwell who had fantastical visions of what the future might look like, they couldn’t…even as the brightest minds of their generation, conceive of a system such as the Internet.
They say at the present, that technology doubles every 24 months. Think about your first cell phone or computer, and compare that with what you have today. Older technology is getting shelved so quickly, it’s hard to keep up with all the evolving transitions from first generation to next generation. Like when compact discs started replacing cassette tapes or DVDs replacing VHS tapes. Change is forced upon us whether we like it or not. Who knows what technology tomorrow will hold?
The Bible does.
“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:17-18)
We often look at the above passage as a standalone event that will be easily recognizable and avoidable…if that day were to come upon us as the Mid-Trib, Pre-Wrath, and Post-Tribulation believers think it would. What they fail to realize, is that prophecy is continuously moving and shaping itself to fulfill exactly what God said would happen thousands of years ago. This mark of the beast won’t just be presented one day, as the mark to buy or sell, but it too will come couched in logical, reasonable sounding language. Those future discussions will be preceded by years of conditioning (today) that come in tiny, little incremental moves towards that ultimate destination. Like a frog in a pot of boiling water…the water is heated slowly so that the frog never notices that it’s getting warmer until it’s too late.
As Jack has often alluded too, greater power is becoming more concentrated into fewer hands. Corporations and governments have increasingly globalized and interconnected to the point that they feel the ripple effects from any number of places on the planet. Personal anonymity is almost non-existent anymore. No other generation has been so utterly chronicled, documented, and scrutinized as we have been.
This digital replica world will be so thoroughly dissected and studied by those nefarious unseen men and women, that when the time comes for implementation, no one will be able to hide. No one will be able to cheat the system, because every plausible scenario will have already been run through every possible way. Brain Machine/Computer Interface (BCI) technology is making such ground breaking strides that a person won’t even be able to hide back what’s on their mind from the authorities who seek any particular sort of information. Facial recognition technology will be employed in every major city as part of efforts to control an increasingly lawless society. Black markets will not be able to exist outside of the Beast’s system because of the all Seeing Eye that will exist on the streets and overhead, and will not only have human enforcers, but demonic oversight that will blanket the earth.
If there are Gentile believers who come to Christ after the Rapture, they will find themselves outside of such a domineering system of control, that to refuse the name, number, or mark of the beast, will mean absolute martyrdom. When compared to the harvest analogy, there were the First Fruits, the Harvest, and the Gleanings. When the Old Testament saints were brought from Sheol to Heaven at Christ’s resurrection, they were part of the First Fruits. We…during this Age of Grace are the Harvest. The Gleanings is what’s left over, which, ought to tell you that not a whole lot of Gentiles will be able to stand against such a terrible system. Only those whom God has fore-ordained to go through the Tribulation will do so, and only because He has already seen the future and can guide those Jewish tribulation believers through the time of Jacob’s trouble, to see the return of their Messiah coming in power and in glory.
Closing Thoughts
As scary and creepy as all this appears to be, there is an upside to this story. If the nefarious evil doers are publically releasing how far along their technologies have come, and we know that they are anywhere from 8-10 years ahead of what their allowing us to know, then that means we are that much closer to the return of our Lord and Savior.
It is through the open door of the Internet, that the spread of the Gospel has gone out around the world. It is by this medium that you are reading this letter and can know what is coming your way…which is why there is an increasing attack on the freedom and content of the Internet by the powers-that-be to shut off or greatly control this free flow of information.
Revelation 12:12 is a bittersweet passage that distinguishes between the exuberant reactions of those who are in heaven, to the somber warning to the earth dwellers who will feel the brunt of the wrath of Satan, because he knows he has nothing left to lose. But no matter how ingenious the plans and schemes of men may appear, they are trivial musings for our God who has seen and knows the end from the beginning.
“Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces. And cast away Their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.” (Psalm 2:1-4)
