And a god Whom His Fathers Knew Not
By Jack Kinsella
According to a report in Front Page Magazine, the renowned historian Bat Ye or says that the European Union has since 1973 been constructing a whole infrastructure of alliances and economic, industrial, media, cultural, financial bonds with the countries of the Arab League.
This new Euro-Muslim entity which she has dubbed Eurabia has been consciously intended to become a counterweight to American power on the world stage, whose aim was to separate and weaken the two continents by an incitement to hostility and the permanent denigration of American policy in the Middle East.
Eurabia is a political and economic entity. Through a succession of international agreements, Europe agreed to support the Islamic world s political aims particularly its anti-Israel stance in exchange for favored treatment in Arab world markets.
Observes Bat Ye or: From the outset the [Euro-Arab Dialogue] was considered as a vast transaction: the EC agreed to support the Arab anti-Israeli policy in exchange for wide commercial agreements.
The fallout has been cultural and demographic as well, as Bat Ye or details in her forthcoming book, Eurabia. In exchange for the opening of Arab markets, Europeans encouraged Muslim immigration into Europe, discouraged assimilation of these immigrant populations, and fostered the dissemination in Europe of Islamic perspectives on history and contemporary politics.
Meanwhile, European foreign policies were brought into harmony with the aims and goals of the Islamic world.
To deflate American power and assure themselves a steady supply of oil, European leaders accepted the traditional cultural baggage of Arab societies, with its anti-Christian and anti-Jewish prejudices and its hostility against Israel and the West.
In exchange for markets in the Islamic world, Europe turned its back on its Judeo-Christian heritage and set the stage for its own Islamization.
At the highest political level, Europe, including Spain, has been selling its soul for decades now giving up, in effect, its blood for oil (not to mention the blood of countless Iraqis and others who had to suffer under the heel of tyrants with whom Europe happily did business.)
Assessment
The descriptive narrative of Daniel Chapter Eleven is traditionally interpreted as a prophecy concerning the rise and fall of Alexander the Great’s Greek empire and its division among four of his generals.
The narrative is so complete, and so completely fits the historical facts surrounding Alexander that many skeptics argue Daniel must have been written much later than the 6th century BC.
Indeed, each of the kings mentioned in this passage correspond perfectly to the four Ptolemaic generals who carved up Alexander’s empire after his death.
But there is also a principle of Bible exegesis called the law of ‘dual fulfillment’ in which Bible prophecy has two fulfillments — one contemporaneous, and one set aside for the ‘time of the end’.
Beginning in Daniel 11:36, there is a subtle shift. Some commentators assume the passage is referring to Antiochus of antiquity. Antiochus slaughtered a pig in the Temple’s Holy of Holies — something the Jews called the ‘abomination of desolation’.
But Jesus said that Daniel’s prophecies in Daniel Chapter 11 are for the last days.
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” (Matthew 24:15-16)
Daniel writes, “And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the TIME OF THE END: because it is YET FOR A TIME APPOINTED.” (Daniel 11:35)
Of the coming antichrist, Daniel says, “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.” (v 37)
The Scriptures say the antichrist will aspire to be a ‘god’ unto himself, and the head of his own religious system. (Revelation Chapter 11)
Instead of worshipping the God of Israel, the antichrist, according to Daniel, will, “in his estate”, “honor the god of forces: and a god whom HIS FATHER’S KNEW NOT shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.” (Daniel 11:38)
In Daniel chapter nine, the prophet tells us that the antichrist will rise to global prominence as a consequence of his confirmation of a false peace agreement between Israel and her enemies. In Daniel 11:39, the prophet outlines the methodology:
“Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall DIVIDE THE LAND FOR GAIN.” (v. 39)
(The failed seven year Oslo Agreement was based on the principle of ‘Land for Peace’, was it not?)
Daniel says the antichrist will be a ‘prince’ of the revived Roman Empire and his false religious system is generally identified as an apostate, post-Rapture, Roman Catholic Church.
But in trying to understand his vision, Daniel asked the revealing angel; “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?”
The angel’s reply was deliberately cryptic; “And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed TILL THE TIME OF THE END.” (Daniel 12:8-9)
The angel continued, “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND.” (12:10)
Let’s add up the clues that have been sealed until the ‘time of the end’ and take another look at Daniel’s description of the antichrist through new eyes. See if it promotes a new understanding.
“And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.” (11:33)
It has always been assumed that the antichrist will be a European who will hail from Rome. But Daniel says he will honor a ‘god of forces’, one ‘whom his fathers knew not’. (Allah wasn’t invented by Mohammed until almost seven hundred years after Christ)
As already noted, being a Muslim and being a European are not mutually exclusive in the developing kingdom of Eurabia. But being a Christian or Jew means becoming a target of Islamic terror, particularly if one preaches against Islam.
Daniel says, “he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.” (11:43) At the heart of al-Qaeda’s power is the money. Osama’s money, Saudi money, money from charity fronts; all of it ISLAMIC money.
Daniel also notes that, “he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.” (11:45)
All the Hebrew prophets predict the flashpoint for the last days will be Jerusalem, and specifically the Temple Mount, currently occupied by the ‘tabernacle of his palace’ that is ‘between the seas in the glorious holy mountain’ — the al-Aqsa Mosque.
All this, taken together with the reality of the spiritual war between the forces of Christianity and Judaism and the forces of Islam (with the tacit support of most of Western Europe), points to Allah as the god of forces in the last days that “shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.” (11:31)
What is often called the ‘Battle of Armageddon’ is actually a spiritual war that spills out into the here and now and reaches white-hot proportions during the Tribulation Period.
And the opening skirmish in that war may well have taken place on September 11, 2001.
