The Hijab: Islamic Veil Of Hatred

The Hijab: Islamic Veil Of Hatred
By Audrey Russo

World Hijab Day (WHD) was Feb.1st. If you haven’t heard of it, it was started by a New Yorker by the name of Nazma Khan who started the global movement asking women worldwide to wear the Hijab for the day in 2013 to stand with Muslim women.

This year women were asked to post a photo of themselves wearing a headscarf (Hijab) on social media using the hashtag #iStand4Hijab.

The organizers said:

“The overall mission of WHD is to create a more peaceful world where global citizens respect each other.”

“Particularly, WHD focuses on fighting bigotry, discrimination, and prejudice against Muslim women.”

“This is most crucial in these times where Hijab is being banned in some countries while in other countries, Muslim women are being targeted and harassed verbally and physically.”

Ms Khan said: “I thought If I could invite women of all faiths – Muslim and non-Muslim – to walk in my shoes just for one day, perhaps things would change.”

No Ms. Khan…it sounds so noble, but it’s not. The only way things will change is to rip off the Hijab so everyone will see the draconian hand of Muhammed move through Muslim men (because their will be a violent reaction from Muslim men). That would be akin to removing the shackles of slavery…because it is indeed a sign of slavery.

Inviting other women into oppression is not compassionate, tolerant or understanding…and deserves no respect or recognition. It’s hatred of your gender. It’s an embrace of victimhood. It’s masochistic.

If Ms. Khan truly wanted to stop “bigotry, discrimination, and prejudice against Muslim women”, she’d leave Islam and the filthy digits of Muhammed that reaches from the grave, through the Quran to strangle her and other Muslim women.

Churchill once said:

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

”A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.”

Indeed, Islam in the hearts and minds of men turns them, by choice, into animals with no lack of control. They treat women like chattel. Something to be used and abused at will…and women are told it’s to ‘protect them’. The Hijab is a sign that you belong to a man, like an inanimate object. That’s nothing to brag about or be proud of.

Most Islamic scholars agree that a woman’s hair should be covered. The covering by cloth is supposed to keep the sexual craving of passing men at bay when women journey outside the home. It’s possible by doing so it might even save a woman’s life, since she most likely will bear the responsibility of unlawful sexual encounters and thus be subject to stoning or other harsh punishments.

Sheik Taj Aldin al Hilali (Australia’s most senior Muslim cleric) wrote referring to Muslim men that were to be jailed for gang-raping women without a Hijab, “If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside … without cover, and the cats come to eat it … whose fault is it, the cats’ or the uncovered meat’s?…The uncovered meat is the problem.”

A woman without the Islamic head covering is responsible for a man’s sexual crimes against her? The victim deserved what she got? The victim is responsible for the perps actions? That’s perverse thinking…

It’s time to come out of your caves, ladies…wearing a Hijab is not a form of protection but persecution by a misogynistic, barbaric dogma started by a maniac named Muhammed. He neither liked nor respected women and taught his male minions to treat women as possessions to be used, abused and disposed of, at will.

Setting aside a day to celebrate the subjugation of women is perverse. If Muslim women want to be respected they should start by respecting themselves and remove the Islamic veil of hatred. THAT would be a reason to celebrate!

Shalom through strength.
