Ex-Star Trek Underling Joins Hamas-Linked Operative to Attack Israel
Actress Estee Chandler disgraces herself by sharing the stage with CAIR rep.

On Star Trek, actress Estee Chandler, in her role as Oliana Mirren, was fighting on the side of good, trying to obtain a spot on the USS Enterprise. Of course, that was fiction. In real life, she is on the side of the terrorists, working hard to delegitimize and destroy the Jewish state, her own people. This month, along with CAIR-Florida leader Hiba Rahim, she showed up on a virtual panel organized by the local NAACP branch, titled ‘Let’s Talk About Palestine,’ to assist Rahim in maligning Israel and shielding Hamas from rebuke. It was a pathetic exhibit of self-hate and possibly a sad and embarrassing moment for her family, and unfortunately, it was no act.

Chandler has spent a good part of her adult years in the film industry, as an actress and producer. According to IMDb, she is known for her work in: The Long Kiss Goodnight, Pleasantville, Terminal Bliss, and even Team America: World Police, an animated movie which ironically some consider racist against Muslims. Now, however, much of Chandler’s time is spent as a representative for Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), an extreme leftwing group, whose members vulgarly parade and exploit their Jewishness as a way to benefit Israel’s enemies. She was representing JVP, when she participated in the virtual panel, on December 16th.

Rahim, the other panelist, is the Tampa Regional Coordinator for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an entity with foundational and financial ties to Hamas. CAIR was established in June 1994, under the leadership of then-global head of Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzook. The US Justice Department labeled CAIR a co-conspirator for two federal trials dealing with Hamas funding. While with CAIR, Rahim has organized events for Islamic Relief (IR), a group that has been banned by multiple nations. Israel has referred to IR as a Hamas front, and the UAE government has designated both CAIR and IR as terrorist organizations.

Prior to coming to CAIR, Rahim was involved with the London, England-based Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC), which proudly and publicly supports convicted terrorists, including violence-preaching hook-handed cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri and the al-Qaeda operative who plotted the 1988 bombing of US embassies in east Africa, Khalid al-Fawwaz. Both are serving life sentences. IHRC also supported al-Qaeda web designer Babar Ahmad and the (now deceased) spiritual leader of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, “Blind Sheik” Omar Abdel-Rahman.

Since arriving at CAIR, Rahim has assisted the group in similarly shilling for terrorists. In August 2020, she and CAIR labeled convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) co-founder Sami al-Arian a “Palestinian activist.” In September 2020, she and CAIR referred to the jailed leaders of the Hamas funding charity, Holy Land Foundation (HLF), as “wrongfully convicted humanitarians.” And this past November, she and CAIR called for female al-Qaeda operative Aafia Siddiqui to be freed from prison. Siddiqui was sentenced to 86 years behind bars for attempting to murder US military officers. Rahim described the situation regarding Siddiqui, as “such a sad case.”

Following panel introductions, the host, Vanessa Toolsie, turned to Rahim to give a “prepared… overview of the history of the situation in Palestine.” Rahim, claiming she was going to provide a “factual breakdown” with “no room for interpretation,” commenced into a one-sided rant against Israel. She mentioned Israel’s wars without telling why they took place or who the aggressors were. She cited Arab displacements from Israel but nothing of the fact that Arab leaders told their brethren to leave their homes. She told of Muslims’ centuries-long presence in Jerusalem but said zero of the fact that Jews had a constant presence there since the days of the Bible.

And of course, Rahim said nothing of the terrorism Israeli citizens have endured, from the day Israel declared independence as a Jewish state. When the subject of Palestinian militancy was brought up by the host, asking “What is Hamas,” Rahim said it was best not to discuss the matter. She answered, “Hamas is a Palestinian resistance movement. That is exactly what it is. It’s also been designated a terrorist organization by the United States, and because of that, it really detracts from the conversation…” She called talk about Hamas a “distraction” from issues she deems of importance, like her dubious and deceptive talking points against Israel.

Rahim, who donned a black and white keffiyeh throughout the panel discussion, also touched upon CAIR’s participation in rallies. This past May, Rahim’s CAIR-Florida partnered with a convicted member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hatem Fariz, to organize a series of anti-Israel demonstrations in Tampa. And in July 2014, CAIR-Florida co-sponsored a pro-Hamas rally in downtown Miami, where rally goers repeatedly chanted, “We are Hamas” and “Let’s go Hamas.” Following the rally, the event organizer, Sofian Zakkout, wrote in Arabic, “Thank God, every day, we conquer the American Jews like our conquests over the Jews of Israel!”

Rahim spelled out her true feelings, when she wrote on Instagram, in May, concerning Israel, “73 years of illegal occupation.” This means, in her eyes, Israel’s entire seven-decades-plus existence is illegal and by extension illegitimate.

Estee Chandler, for her part, went along with every single thing Rahim said, during the panel discussion, not challenging a word and adding a laundry list of recent unsubstantiated criticisms against Israel, herself, painting the Jewish homeland as a pariah state.

Chandler further complained that when she launched her Los Angeles chapter of JVP, someone put up a ‘wanted poster’ of her, on her front doorstep, labeling her a “self-hating Jew.” While no one should feel threatened for voicing their views, with what Chandler and her group does, singling out Israel for attack, standing by bigots like Hiba Rahim, and spouting anti-Semitic propaganda against the Jewish state, how could anyone believe otherwise? Indeed, she is the definition of a self-hating Jew, and she is aiding and abetting the enemies of Israel, who probably despise her and are cynically manipulating her traitorous pathology… and bad act.
