Windows 3.1 was the OS in my first computer,, a Packard Bell that I bought at Circuit City in 1990. Back then you could go into DOS and tweek the system...if you dared...and I dared. I also bought a dot matrix printer at that same time.
I forgot about my college days in 1983-85 when I was first introduced to a computer at college by my psychology professor, back then it was only DOS no such thing as windows. Bill Gates wasn't even a millionaire back then, but only two short years later, in 1987 he became the youngest Bill-ionaire at the age of 31.
