Why Do People Stick Their Heads In The Sand?

I guess my simple take on this question is what good is it going to do to be concerned with all we see going on around us? I read the headlines and maybe the first paragraph of articles. That’s it…I rarely read the whole article. Not to be a Debbie downer but outside of prayer there is absolutely nothing we can do about the downfall of our once great country and of the world as a whole. Our votes don’t count anymore. So for me, I’m aware of all the political, social, moral, etc. issues we face now but to dwell on these issues will not benefit my well being at all. I trust in Jesus.
You are exactly right people are getting into fear and worry, but we that trust in :fish have nothing to worry about. Fear comes from our enemy :diablo. God doesn't give us the spirit of fear but love, power and a sound mind. God has everything under control, and we know evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived. This world will become more evil because that is the way it is predicted before :fish returns :rapture to get his bride.

I get a lot of scam phone calls. Even though I hang up on them they still like to bug as in call back.
Janice, if I get a call with just a phone number and no name from my Contact List, I just hit the red button for decline call. The caller is still able to leave a voicemail. If it's a legit call (like a new dentist office that you haven't yet put in contacts), they will likely leave voicemail message. Then, you may decide to put them in contacts. Even if we're doing temporary business with someone, I go ahead and put name & number in my Contact List for temporary purpose only. Once our business with that person is over, I can delete their contact info. Easy. And no wasting time getting stressed out over unwanted calls.

I don't have call waiting or caller id on our phone. That cost extra on your bill.

I hear that Disney World is so proud of the gay movement that they Mickey and Minnie are dressing up in rainbow colors. They remind me of the anti-christ who acts like he is God, but he is a fake too. The rainbow belongs to the true God not the lgbtq etc. crowd. They use 6 colors, and God uses the perfect number 7.
I grew up in central Florida and I knew quite a few people that worked at Disney World. One of my friends was Cinderella and she told me that most of the dancers and cast members were gay. Disney has been woke for many years but now but these days they don't bother to hide it anymore. They want to groom your children.

It is an evil world this scripture comes to mind. :bibleit would be better to be thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around your neck than to cause one of these little ones to fall into sin.

I have been blocking unknown calls for years, as well as texts.
I check for voicemails...no message, gets an immediate block. Never clicked on a link either.
I also disabled email on our phones.
I doubt Jim ever noticed....he
probably never knew you could get email on your phone :)

Based on the phone model it may say "resume call." In that case, hit that.

I guess next time I'm talking to someone on the phone, I'll take a peak and see what buttons are available. Not sure I'd even have the nerve to put someone on hold though, seems a bit rude.

It's interesting. I don't get a lot of calls, but when I do they seem to come on top of each other.

I think it depends on the urgency/importance of the incoming call vs the importance of the call one is already on. If the incoming call is my very elderly, frail Dad's house phone, I'll put whoever it is on hold or hang up entirely, because it could be life-and-death.
