Who do you want to meet in heaven?

I like coming back to this thread. I know we all miss our loved ones who are with the Lord. It’s really exciting to think about seeing them again…

I keep having dreams about my mom and embracing her in a big hug. Maybe my heart and brain are preparing for that happy moment. In my dreams she always fades away. I can’t wait for the moment I know she’ll still be right there.

Psalm37v4

Hated and laughed at by the world but loved by God
My late Uncle Edgar used to talk about going to heaven and that it would be "The family reunion to top all family reunions!" So much of my family on my mom's side were firm believers strong in the faith. (not sure about my dad's side.) It will be SO cool to talk with all of them! So many stories to share and we have forever to catch up!

ItIsFinished!

Blood bought child of the King of kings.
I wonder not just who I will meet but also what I will remember from this life.
As far as who you will meet? I believe in Heaven we will be able to meet whoever we want that inhabit the New Heaven, and New Earth.
I believe our mode of transportation and communication will be absolutely glorious.
Absolutely beyond our finite understanding.

First Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen , nor
ear heard , neither have entered into the heart
of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.

First John 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and
it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but
we know that, when he shall appear , we shall
be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

As far as what we will remember during eternity in the New Heaven , and New Earth , I believe it will not involve any bad memories at the least .
There will be no rememberance of former troubles . (Isaiah 65:16)

Isaiah 65:17

For behold , I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered,
nor come into mind.

And one of our many favorite verses from God's Word found in Revelation.

Revelation 21:4

And God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes ; and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying , neither shall there
be any more pain: for the former things are
passed away.

Praise His Holy Name!

Everyone that God wants me to see. My mom and dad(I think they received Christ on their death beds) Wife, and neighbors from farm. My pastor and family and some from church. And anyone else in family that made last minute decision.
I am retired now but was an ICU nurse. I had a patient accept Jesus a few hours before he passed away. It was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life was to lead him to Jesus as he was lying on his death bed. I hope your family members made the last minute decision too! :pray
