Who do you want to meet in heaven?

What a fun question!!!

In Heaven, a place without tears or pain (and the memories n things that cause these) ....plus with new bodies (our current bodies probably can't handle the overwhelming awesomeness of Heaven)... I can't imagine how awesome it'll be!!!

It'd be wonderful to talk to David n Daniel... and his friends...what was it like in the fire with Jesus? I wanna talk with everyone and hear the testimonies!!!! It'll make me want to worship Abba even more!!!

And the mansions.... I wonder if they'll be taylored to ppls preferences. If so, mine would be a log cabin with a stocked lake!!!!

Open invitation to y'all to visit me in my mansion any time!!!!

I know I'll bump into some of my enemies up there...cuz I pray for their salvation and believe some, hopefully all, will choose Jesus. I would even like to talk to them... hear how Jesus healed the pain (that influenced them to choose to be mean)

Oh, so sweet to be heavenly minded! Ty for this post!!

Self-cleaning, or at least a Roomba/similar that also dusts ceiling-to-floor and wall-to-wall :biggrin

If we grow something, we won't have to weed it :hyper

And self-cleaning litterboxes that actually do/are (or perhaps the kitties won't need one)

Best of all, dogs and cats won't die

:bouncies

:thankyou JESUS!!! :thankyou

I can’t wait to see all the dogs and cats up there as well as some of the other animals. We’ll be able to talk to, and even pet wild animals like tigers and lions!

And finally, I can talk to my kitties and they will talk back! If Balaam‘s donkey could talk in the Bible, imagine what the animals will say in heaven!

This thread got me thinking???? How will we communicate in heaven? What language will we speak?
What do you all think?
There are some really good eschatologically-minded and Scripturally sound Christian pastors/authors who have penned some time-tested intriguing books, both fiction and nonfiction, that describe how this could happen. We are discouraged from mentioning specific names on this forum...but they have surely answered a lot of questions for many of us. I tend to agree with what I have read that many of the boundaries we now experience that separate life as we know it from the spiritual realm will not exist...and though we will not have nearly all of the powers that belong to Christ in our glorified bodies, our ability to perceive and communicate will be altered dramatically, perhaps being able to engage in activities simultaneously as well as somehow simply "know" automatically what we had to dig out or converse to know previously. It might be interesting if we all spoke Hebrew, but knowing our creative Elohim, it will be a language, perhaps a new one, that transcends every barrier, and no longer a Babel-esque threat in the MK--certainly not in Heaven.

I want to meet my best friend. I never met whomever this person will be, but I've asked Jesus to sit beside him/her at the Feast after the Rapture.

I want to meet all the "unknown" saints of all ages who have been forgotten by history, but are known by God and each have and amazing story of God's goodness to share. All the 14th Century milkmaids, the 3rd century slaves, the 18th century secret Muslim converts who were martyred... and so many more!

And, to add to the idea of meeting all of those in Heaven (to give some perspective on time), if Heaven has a billion people (not an unreasonable number), if you met 2 new people every day, it would take you 1.3 million years to meet everyone.

How's that for a long-term goal?!? And yet, it'll be achievable! With an eternal time frame, we'll eventually get to know everyone, and I firmly believe we won't forget the people we do meet or the details about them once we learn them. It's going to be awesome!

I absolutely love this post! This is the post that I made my mind up on joining. My mom and me quite often talk about all the things we're gonna do in heaven. We already have a plan to meet at the river to take it all in. I jokingly say I want to rassle Michael, but honestly I can't wait to meet Michael and Gabriel. I can't wait to hug my granny's neck, she passed back 2013, I can't wait see and hug my dad. I pray I get to see my cousin and my aunt there. I want to talk with Paul, and all the disciples. Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego and see what it was like in the fire like another membee stated. The their that was on the cross next to Jesus. My list is long but I plan on having a great time completing it.
