Who do you want to meet in heaven?

Psalm37v4

Hated and laughed at by the world but loved by God
I started a thread like this many years ago on the old forum, so I thought I’d start it up again here.

*** Who, after meeting and embracing Jesus, do you want to meet in heaven?***
We all will of course want to first meet and hug Jesus, but I’m curious who you’d like to meet after that. For me I am so anxious to see my nephew Andrew, who had severe cerebral palsy all his life & could never do anything on his own. Then after being reunited with my relatives, I want to meet the apostle Paul, Moses, and I also want to meet and fellowship with some of the Christian artists like Keith Green, Carman, etc.

Heaven will be such a blast!!! :dance

There’s going to be millions of us in heaven. I wonder how will we have access to each other.
How will we spend time together? I want to go fishing with the Apostle Paul ( there’s fishing in heaven right) will he be available to hang out?
I can't wait to get there, I can only imagine, God’s eternity will be the most amazing part of his creation!

What a nice question! There are so many people that I'd like to meet. My mum's uncle, who I never met in this life, and his wife / mum's aunt who I knew and who was a Christian. There are a number of friends that died young that I'd love to meet again. But I think I'd really like to meet lots of people who we read about in the Bible. In no particular order - Joseph, to hear about his time leading Egypt. Daniel, who served in a number of courts. Jesus' earthly mother and brothers. I also imagine that there will be very many interesting people in Heaven. Think about all those believers from times past who had few opportunities in this life. I wonder what they will be doing and thinking in Heaven when all the former limits are gone? And I suspect that when all the cares of this world are gone, people will fully explore and develop who they are. I think we will make lots of new friends who we never new on earth as well. Everyone stranger will be a friend to make, and some will be people we really connect with. What a wonderful inheritance is prepared for us by God!

Besides the obvious Jesus and family (including all the pets that have died) . . .

I want to salute the Centurion, who crucified Jesus, and thank him and his men for doing their duty, and publicly proclaiming Jesus as Son of God.
He was first to proclaim Jesus as the Son of God after Jesus died, and doing so carried the death penalty, which could have been carried out right then and there

I also want to say "hi" to and pet Balaam's ass and the donkey that carried Mary and Jesus

And thank Molly, who was my Sunday School teacher, when I came to saving faith at 3.

And thank Hal Lindsey for writing The Late Great Planet Earth and teaching me about the Rapture, etc., and getting me interested in Bible prophecy.

And thank Diane Metzger for her awesome and uplifting organ playing, including keeping the services moving.

And thank everyone that wrote, edited, etc. the great hymns, liturgies, cantatas, etc.

And ask Martin Luther about standing up to the Catholic Church :eek

Too many more . . . if I tried to list them all, I'd never finish the post :lol

Praising my Savior all the day long!
I want to meet everyone, and pretty sure we'll have plenty of time ., meet Adam and Eve, Noah, Moses , Shadrac, Meshac and Abednego, Daniel and so many prophets from the bible and Jesus family members and disciples. And family members I may have that made it, as far as I know maybe my sister and my kids. And I want to meet those who may have prayed for my salvation when I was young and growing up, I think someone prayed for me because my entire family was/is far from God. And maybe people I witnessed to for the last 35 years , I hope some put their trust in Jesus. I think there will be some great discussions to listen to from great followers and worshipers of our Almighty God.

Other than Relatives that I never had a chance to meet, or died when I was to young to remember them, Enoch, Methusala, Noah, Adam, Eve, Seth, Able, Ruth, Naomi, Martha, all the Mary's, Esther, any of her children and descendants that might be there, Esther's husband, both of Naomi's sons, all of the Apostles, the little old lady that gave everything she had to God (have always wondered what happened to her after that), The Sheperds, The Wisemen, the The woman that touched his garment, the thief on the cross, anyone that had a hand in his trial, torture and death that may have been saved because of his resurrection and the list could go on forever...
