What are y'all having for supper?

I made us some small steaks in the airfryer option on my Ninja instapot thingy.

George is enjoying the airfryer mode a lot, so I've entered into discussions with him about getting rid of the big gas BBQ on our deck. He doesn't enjoy doing it anymore, and when I pull steaks out to thaw he actually prefers the airfryer.

Since I tend to get rid of anything we aren't using I asked him to think about letting go the BBQ.

NOT if he still enjoys it.

But if he doesn't, that would free up some space on our deck AND I could maybe keep a smaller dedicated air fryer out there in it's place. Someone mentioned a smoker BBQ style air fryer in the discussions when Tall Timbers was getting his air fryer and that might be a possibility.

He wouldn't have to go get tanks of propane anymore either which is always heavy and awkward. He's thinking about it. So am I.

I'm doing Lemon Oregano Chicken and Potatoes which is exactly that with a bit of olive oil, garlic salt and pepper. In the oven all mixed together and roasted at 400 till done. Always easy. A sheet pan type meal. Broccoli is in the instapot for steaming later, all cut up and ready to go.

A nice easy meal.

No yucca in the freezer so I will have to pick some up when we're in town again because I really want it now. I ended up making some sausage, veggies and hashbrowns all mixed together. It was pretty good.

Yuca was one of the primary foods I had during my two years in Colombia. When I first arrived I wouldn't eat it. By the time I left I loved it!

My nephew and his wife just arrived. We'll take them to a restaurant for dinner and then I'll cook for them the next couple of nights. Not sure which restaurant yet. There's a truck stop restaurant we like right by their hotel but I might want to take them to a place called Charlies tavern just because I've been wanting to try it.

Choice of shrimp scampi with Romano cheese (no rBST), salad, and leftover New York cheesecake (no rBST) with fresh, chilled, organic strawberries, or leftover baked chicken, cooked veggie, and OJ

I'm waiting until Dad's finished with dinner to fix and eat mine because both allergic to and detest the smell of fish and seafood. Cross-contamination of both food and smells :lol

:thankyou JESUS!!! :thankyou
