The White House announced on Tuesday that it will be selling another 20 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as part of its effort to lower gas prices. The Department of Energy will be issuing a notice of the sale, the fifth such measure that the president has ordered as energy costs for consumers skyrocket, Fox Business reported. At the same time, the White House continued to blame Putin’s ongoing Ukraine war for high costs at the pump, describing "disruptions posed by Russia’s invasion" for record costs while insisting that the administration’s measures are working.

The conspiracy theorist in me is starting to wonder if this pretense of Russia invading Ukraine and the US "helping the Ukrainians" is not all a big, phony con job...I do not doubt that the war and devastation faced by the Ukrainian people are real but it really seems like both the Russian govt and the US govt are benefitting from this in not quite so obvious ways.

Russia gets extremely valued territory from Ukraine and gets some of it's Cold War "Russia scary!" mojo back...

....the Ukrainian and US govt officials get to launder money and profit from weapons deals....

.....and the US gets a "big bad guy" in the form of Putin to put the blame on for what is actually Bidens direct personal war on the fossil fuel industry on behalf of the "Liberal world order/Green Nazi's" who now want to take away not just our AR-15's but our Air conditioners....

Regarding the WEF's elitist attitude towards Air conditioning being a costly waste of energy and drain on the environment, as an AZ citizen, if some (very brave and /or stupid) govt bureaucrat came for our A'C's they would be greeted by Arizonans with the same "Molon Labe" "Come and take them!" attitude that gun owners would greet the ATF thugs with.

It's not lost on them, it's by design. If there is one thing I believe that Joe Biden said, it's him saying to a young girl while running for President, "I guarantee you, we're going to end fossil fuels". When he said that, it was delivered different than all his lies. To me that was a genuine statement and he was telling the truth.

Hard to tell what goes on behind the scenes. Putin is one WEF's Young Global Leaders, so that makes you go hmmm.
