Way of the Master Evangelism

Hey y'all is the Way of the Master a good evangelism method? I've seen videos of Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron doing this and I wanted to get y'all's thoughts. Also I've read where they are Calvinists and teach Lordship Salvation. Do they believe that? I know we are only saved through our faith alone in Jesus Christ and in His completed work on the cross and Resurrection. Thanks :wave

My personal opinion is "Yes!" However, now with a bit of a disclaimer, which Adrian gave, about not delving too deeply into the Ray Comfort/Kirk Cameron "movement" beyond their method of evangelizing ...

In other words, be sure you are attached to a solid bible teaching church movement in your daily life.

They have a spot on TBN and Adrian says that they are not theologically sound through and through.

I will leave any further comment to him, and I just pray that I have not misquoted him with what I have said above....

He is very busy this week though, so I do not have a clue when you might hear from him. I will bring this thread to his attention though.

Peyton, the information at this link may help you understand some things about TWOTM Living Waters theology errors. The Damnable Heresy of Ray Comfort I don't think that Adrian has time to address this issue for a while as he is involved in frantic preparations for the RF Prophecy Conference...

mary,

I have never studied Ray Comfort's teaching. Just went to the David Stewart website and read what he had to say about him. Interesting. I've read David Stewart's articles about John MacArthur. I do like his references to John R. Rice who is one of my favorite Christian writers.

Although I didn't understand the concept of Lordship salvation years ago when I was going through the misery of having no assurance of salvation I think it was the main reason for my difficulty in understanding about how to believe the Gospel. The article I wrote about my experience explains the Lordship teaching that I struggled with.

Link to the article containing my testimony if anyone is interested:
