Can't Their governor veto that bill?
Even if he can and we win this one battle, the momentum is benefiting the left. There were plenty of people who rose up against gay marriage initially and most people didn't support it. It didn't take long, though, before it was legalized. I believe we are seeing the same thing with all of these social issues and the direction we are moving is straight down the toilet, in spite of a few victories here and there.

We are all in agreement that this law would be absurdly wrong but it is also wrong for the state to have that much interference in citizens lives. Do we need the state telling us how to address and raise our children???
The destruction of the family is intentional. A strong family is the foundation of a strong society/civilization. Collectivist states and religious sects do the same thing.

I am sorry my country keeps giving your wokesters bad ideas. I am grateful we are able to make the sacrifice to homeschool but it is a stretch many times.

The family is the biggest threat to the socialists/global reset pushers because it provides the kind of stability that they want to come from the government. By destroying the nuclear family, they create instability which gives them the opening they need to take over. Unfortunately, I believe that things will continue to deteriorate until we won't even be able to recognize our own country anymore. Things keep accelerating faster and faster just like Jesus said that they would.

If you look at the path America has been on for the last several decades and extend the line onward it's easy to see where the path is taking us: we are already very far into the realm of liberalism being imposed on us as an official state religion, and that imposition is becoming more overt. It started with the illegal edicts from the Court outlawing organized prayer in school, then went to the normalization of feminism, which soon led to feminist dogma being programmed into kids in the schools, and went to the normalization of homosexuality, belief in all manner of genders, and to where we are now. But we will not remain here; we will continue moving further along.

I remember first hearing about political correctness in the 1980s. PC codes hold the threat of expulsion over the heads of anyone who dares to express thought that has been forbidden by the high seers of liberalism. The cult masters claim that they really only want to protect people from being offended, but it's only not ok to offend liberals and those protected under their banner, and speaking the truth in answer to their lies offends them; it has never been politically incorrect to offend patriots, Christians, gun nuts, greedy capitalists, white people, and women who want to stay home and bake cookies. You can curse our Savior and His people all day long and it's no big deal (at least in this life), but express thought forbidden by the liberal cult and you're gone.

Now those who went through school with this government-imposed threat hanging over their heads are adults who grew up thinking this is all normal and as it should be. And long ago that threat was extended to the workplace, which reinforced its effect. This created a solid base that allowed the path to be extended.

The liberal cult has never taken us to a certain point and then said we have gone far enough so we'll just stay here; everything they do is part of a process, and the road this process puts us on is clear, eventually leading to the condemnation of God's word by government, and the forced acceptance of liberal dogma. Liberalism is clearly a satanic cult, so what does this tell us about the new world order we are being led to?

I agree. This has been coming for several decades but so many adult conservatives just dismissed it as college kids who would "grow up" once the realities of adult life hit them. Unfortunately, teachers never left the system and they were the ones who had the attention of our kids for at least a full generation if not more. Maybe more if you want to go back to the moment God was taken out of the equation. I remember hearing of political correctness as a kid in the '90s but so many even on TV were making fun of it that no one saw what was coming. I remember we would sing the "PC" version of "Row Row Row Your Boat" and "Three Blind Mice" and it was so hilarious. What kid wouldn't giggle at "Three visually challenged rodents" ?? I only let my kids watch older shows on DVD but I was going over one of my childhood favourites--"Boy Meets World" and I was shocked at the beginnings of all of our current ideologies being promoted heavily. So much had gone over my head at the time because we had no idea where it was headed. I would not let my kids watch that show now. I even regret getting season 7 of "Home Improvement" because one of the boys becomes a full-on social activist and it's all so absurd. Plus the other son goes goth and they hint he worships satan and the sexual stuff is way too much. I cringed so much while watching with them but the kids were blissfully unaware just as I was a kid. But they didn't like that season either. The earlier, lighter seasons were more fun.

The idea of being "progressive" is that the revolution is never over. There is always some new hill to conquer and some new degeneracy to normalize and an old tradition to obliterate simply for being a tradition. It's human nature. We're no different than the people before the Flood, or those in Sodom and Gomorrah, those at Babel, or any of the other ancient cultures with their superstitions. And God is constant too. It makes me feel a little better at least to know He has seen it all before and we have Jesus to hold onto.
