Virginia Parents Could Face Felony Charges for Not ‘Affirming’ Child’s Gender Identity

Parents in Virginia could face felony or misdemeanor child abuse charges if they refuse to “affirm” their child’s gender identity. Virginia state Del. Elizabeth Guzman (D) plans to introduce legislation in order to combat Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s (R) model policies on the treatment of “transgender” students in Virginia schools. “The day that Gov. Youngkin wanted to implement this policy, I immediately texted the policy lead of that committee and said, this is how we’re going to push back,” Guzman, who is a social worker, said to ABC 7 News.

The planned bill would expand the definition of child abuse to include parents who are not willing to “affirm” their child’s stated gender identity or sexual orientation, with Guzman telling the outlet that if a child reports such an incident, “the job of that mandated reporter is to inform Child Protective Services (CPS).”

All we need to do is just scan the topics on this thread, and see just how pathetic and almost unbelievable (almost) it is to see the evil, utter depravity, and lawlessness that has possessed this country. You used to at least be able to count on Christians and pastors to uphold God’s commandments, but even that doesn’t happen much any more, especially with elected officials. I speak from experience here in TN, where even in the “Bible Belt” our government wreaks of wokeness in so many. I could see this kind of upside down thinking happening here, and in a number of cities this kind of “ruling” wouldn’t surprise me.
And to know that during the millennium, we will be watching all this mess happening even with Jesus himself, ruling. Yet people will still rebel and act downright “ugly”.

No..we won't..Jesus will rule with a first of iron..except for some reason, Egypt, I believe the first two generations will be God fearing..simply because their parents and grandparents will remember the tribulation they survived and drill it into their heads..after that..I know there will be rebellion of some kind..but it will be very few and very far between..there will probably be many who hate the Government of the day..but will keep it to themselves because they will see what happens to those who show out and out in the face of Jesus rebellion..they won't form a 'committee' until God let's Satan out of his prison..then they'll come down on Jerusalem in droves..Satan will convince them it will work..like he always has...and they will believe him.. because it has always worked...and that is when mankind experiences it's very last war..and Satan will lose the second Armageddon, just like he lost the first one...

To me, if a child is so confused as to not know his sex, it's the parents responsibility to teach and correct. No abuse there. It's neglect to allow the child his folly and abuse to indulge the folly.

I don't know what the law is in Virginia, so I can only hope so. Even if they do, the FBI will probably pick up the slack. They are already doing just that when it comes to abortion.

We are all in agreement that this law would be absurdly wrong but it is also wrong for the state to have that much interference in citizens lives. Do we need the state telling us how to address and raise our children???
