The Biden administration slammed as “unacceptable” National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s Temple Mount visit on Tuesday morning, which sparked global condemnation and created immediate friction between Israel’s new government and the US.

“The United States stands firmly for preservation of the historic status quo with respect to the holy sites in Jerusalem. We oppose any unilateral actions that undercut the historic status quo. They are unacceptable,” US State Department spokesman Ned Price said.

Well if the PA got mad at Ben Gvir for walking up to the temple mount and he did so even with some threats then I'm pretty sure they aren't happy about this news either. I guess the request is made every year but maybe Ben Gvir makes this year different ? We shall see

Should a ring of Jewish priest surround the Dome and pray for cleansing, and offer the prescribed sacrifice,
I'd expect Holy Fire to drop and consume the offense and pave way for a new temple.

I have a hunch as you say , that Dome won't exist after Ezekiel 38.

That's more or less that I've said for some time, it all makes sense to me, then in chapter 39 v 28 and29 he'll bring everyone back leaving none behind, to me that means zero Jews left in the world. All of them back in Israel.
