“In this particular case, it was determined that this posed a reasonable threat to air traffic,” said Pentagon spokesperson Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder.

A US F-22 fighter jet on Friday shot down an unidentified object flying high over Alaska, US officials said, less than a week after the military brought down a Chinese balloon that had flown across the United States. A Sidewinder missile downed the latest craft, which was about the size of a small car, said US Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder, the Pentagon's chief spokesperson.

"We don't know who owns this object," said White House spokesperson John Kirby, adding that it was unclear where it began its flight. President Joe Biden ordered the shootdown, which was announced from the White House.

As is so often the case, I'd say we are seeing the tip of a very dangerous iceberg here. Things do not get sent to fly over America for no reason, and it is very unlikely that it happens accidentally. It's just too much of a coincidence that these things are happening now while there is a communist takeover underway in our country, and an illegally installed president is so obviously a vassal of the Chinese communists.

They are just doing a Three Stooges' move on us: poking us in the eye and saying, “oh, a wise guy, eh?”

I think they are still peeved over Pelosi's trip into Taiwan, our ventures thru the Taiwan Strait, and other actions they deem as provocative to them.

There is another story here - https://justthenews.com/government/norad-monitoring-another-high-altitude-object-over-canada-report

US. forces on Saturday shot down an "unidentified object" over Canadian airspace, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Saturday.
The prime minister made the announcement via Twitter amid reports circulating of another airborne object floating over Canada.
"I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace," he said, "[NORAD] shot down the object over the Yukon."
"Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object," he also said.

So this is the second incident in two days one on Feb 10th and this one on the 11th
