US military plans to unleash thousands of autonomous war robots over next two years
The scale and scope of the US announcement make clear the future of conflict has changed: the age of warfighting robots is upon us.

The United States military plans to start using thousands of autonomous weapons systems in the next two years in a bid to counter China’s growing power, US Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks announced in a speech on Monday. The so-called Replicator initiative aims to work with defense and other tech companies to produce high volumes of affordable systems for all branches of the military.

Military systems capable of various degrees of independent operation have become increasingly common over the past decade or so. But the scale and scope of the US announcement make clear the future of conflict has changed: the age of warfighting robots is upon us.

I remember running there the day after we'd land. We'd only be there 3-3 1/2 weeks at a time... running was interesting. I was coming from Omaha though, which can be plenty humid too, just not quite like Okinawa. Okinawa may be where I got my first serious sun burn. Grew up shirtless and shoeless in SoCal... get stationed in Omaha. During my first winter I turn white and wonder if I'm sick or something. Go to Okinawa and get fried... Learned to pack sunblock after that.

I'd imagine Jesus could make those machines turn on their operators. But Zechariah 14:12-13 says:

And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:

Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

It shall come to pass in that day
That a great panic from the Lord will be among them.
Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor,
And raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand;

Very interesting! The first stanza describes what happens to people in a nuclear blast. Will He cause a nuke-equipped AI-powered robot to spontaneously explode, or will He simply just cause their cellular structure to unbind without the great big explosion? The second stanza gives one the impression of widespread chaos and plenty of "friendly fire". Would He make those machines turn on their handlers? We'll find out once we return with the Conquering King!

Its all about Jesus and your relationship with Him
When I first read the Title,

I thought budget cuts/fund shifting to arm Ukraine were going to result in a lot on national Guardsmen being laid off....

Some of those people should not be soldiers.
