National security source says it's believed Russia plans to launch cyber attacks against U.S.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is warning of an imminent cyber threat against American companies and government agencies because Russia may soon launch attacks against critical U.S. infrastructure, a national security source told Fox News.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued a warning last week that "[e]very organization in the United States is at risk from cyber threats that can disrupt essential services and potentially result in impacts to public safety."

It told companies and organizations in the U.S. that they should immediately take steps to protect against a cyberattack, specifically citing recent malware attacks against Ukraine.

This feels like a setup. Yes, Putin could invade, but he also may not. Biden may finally be realizing his ‘presidency’ has failed miserably and is going all in on the war front. His only option really is a war so he can make himself look stronger.

The list of 16 unnamed cyber targets Diben told Putin not to hack last summer are probably the primary targets. This administration has reached new heights of stupidity. It is reactive rather than proactive. It stays behind the curve, falling further behind daily. Our own border continues to be overrun. Maybe the White House should invite Kyle Rittenhouse to bring a map to the Oval Office, point out where Ukraine is, and offer to donate his AR15 to the UkrainIan army.

Congress is the only branch of power that can approve a declared war. Biden can want all he wants to but Congress has to approve whether to have the US participate in the declared war. Even being in NATO Congress still has to approve Us participating in a newly declared war.

This all sure is convenient, coming along when we are getting into the midterm election season and the President is so unpopular a big distraction might do him (and more important, his party) some good.
I can't help but think all of this is part of keeping Americans in fear mode. The people are more and more figuring out the pandemic is near its end and the economy may be crashing and crime is up all under Bidens watch but I think the administration is using every tool to keep the fear mongering alive. Russia is a real threat but it's how the WH and media are spinning it to the public and
meant to keep fear in the people. What can a normal citizen do? Just take in what's being reported then what? Fear mongering

Have the demonrats come to believe that it would take being embroiled in a WWIII to possibly keep their majority in Congress come November?

One thing is certain: we can't trust anything the US govmint says. We can't trust what periodicals print. We can't trust what the talking heads say.

Without conscience or moral compass, WWIII is acceptable if the polls will begin to confirm that Dims will keep their majority. If the war goes badly, Joe can always surrender in catastrophic fashion, ensuring that nukes need not be used.

Unfortunately, in this day and age a cyber attack could go a long way in crippling a country, economy, or company. It would be a pretty slick way to carry out an attack or to blackmail a country into compliance. :hmmm

They already attacked some of our sensitive Dept of Defense computers here in Canada-- announced on the noon news, more to come later.

That is to be expected, because if Russia is going to be on the move, they will want to bog down any potential adversary by gumming up their computers and distracting them.

I read an article earlier stating that the WH is using the Russia/Ukraine situation as a distraction from the US problems being caused by the Demonrats and by putting focus on war, which the article explained that if war is declared it will automatically put a stay or freeze on the 2022 elections which they know they are likely going to lose. If Congress approves war declaration they will use it to not have the election take place giving them more time to plan a way to secure their position in power. It certainly makes sense if Congress is able to stay the November election by the US going to war.

I forgot about that list of infrastructure Biden handed to Putin on a silver platter. It did seem odd that he would give that list.

Knowing how the Demonrats will do anything to grab power and stay in power, I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be true.
