UN Chief “Our World Is In Big Trouble” Warns Of 'Colossal Global Dysfunction'

Most definitely! I only think the Church is in trouble if they don't recognize the times we are in. Those who think 2019 normal is coming back or that this progressive nonsense is the 'new normal' so long as they can watch their sports and Netflix won't be ready. I have lately felt like I'm staring into this massive, black chasm and I'm not afraid or despairing but I get frustrated when people don't want to look at where the world is headed. I know Who is holding me as the world enters this next stage but I would feel a little better if my brethren were holding hands with me too. I am only human. I'm a Lord of the Rings nut and sometimes it feels like I am staring into the palentir (magic seeing stone that the enemy uses true but evil images to scare the good guys) too much and I need that encouragement to focus on Him and to hold onto hope no matter what the circumstances are.
I think what hits me reading your post, and now “Chrislam” being hyped constantly by world leaders, is the true “church” is shrinking as we speak. Each day that passes it seems we hear more apostasy being preached from the pulpit. Only God knows if these pastors/congregation were ever saved, or did they fall into the trap themselves listening to false teachers.
With every passing day, pure evil is in your face and if you don’t agree with the masters of it, you‘re ostrasized, lose your job, and now subject to physical harm from nut jobs who have no conscience or moral compass.
It’s not rocket science that what was the beacon of freedom in the world is know controlled by satanic people with only destruction in their plan.
At my age, every morning I pray Lord, let it be today.

Watching sports is one of the few areas that relaxes me, and connects me back to my childhood, when times were so much better.
Nothing against sports or Netflix! Please don't misunderstand me. I love watching through my old tv series on DVD. I pretty much have The Office memorized at this point. Keeps me sane to have some distractions from all that is going on. It's more about the priorities.

Has anyone listened to J.D. Farag’s prophecy update from this week? September is fast becoming a crazy month! And he is not date setting, but with Israel‘s upcoming festivals this weekend may be more surprising than ever. We will see.
He's lost the plot, buying into September 11 conspiracies and strongly hinting that this weekend could be the rapture, i'm no longer watching him anymore , that was the last straw

Same here. There was no reason to go off on a conspiracy theory rant about 9/11. And no reason to get people's hopes up about the rapture occurring this weekend. If it happens, great - but there is no reason to assume or suggest that it will.

Are these exciting times? For sure. Should we be watching? Yes. But he is setting people up for disappointment.

Sorry to say, but I gave up on this guy a
l-o-n-g time ago. It's fine for Christians to have personally held opinions or views that are not widely held, but if they are in a leadership role over any part of God's flock of believers, those leaders should keep their own opinions private. More and more I see popular pastors with YouTube channels sharing their 'opinions' about things rather than focusing on Scripture and rightly dividing the Word. I think it's just easier to stand there and espouse popular conservative opinions than actually doing the hard work of preparing a sermon.

I believe his name is banned here.
I will never understand why. I don't like having favourites or putting one person over another but sometimes I have questions about what certain people say or if people can help me understand what they meant by something. The YouTube comments under certain videos can often have 'followers' who are more zealous and not quite so neutral so it feels fruitless to bring all that up there. Innocent questions by me have had me dog-piled. A third party, sane place to discuss some things would be nice. I have stopped watching, uh, certain people because the conspiracy rabbit hole was a little too deep for me.

Without melodrama, many TV pastors would
be on food stamps. My prediction for October:
Halloween.
And don't forget Canadian Thanksgiving! Have my turkey in the freezer already. Found a small enough one that won't be too silly for my 4 person family (and my 2 picky eater children probably will only take a few bites). We usually end up doing a small fryer roast chicken but this year we're living it up.
