I joined Twitter last night just to support the hope that Twitter will become a free speech space. Doubt I'll ever use the account. Once my "influencer" checks start rolling in maybe I'll upgrade to an $8 twit. Not sure where those checks come or from or why they come but I expect they'll start arriving any day now.

I would call Elon personally to find out when the checks would be rolling in.

So yes we knew anything conservative wouldn’t see the light of day just like FB. What exactly is the other side so afraid of? The truth?

Banned for life? I would have blocked them too.

Don't know. The first thing I thought was someone had hacked into my account because I hadn't been in it in a while. But then I got a message saying I was banned. The last thing I had done before setting it aside for a time was block Mr and Mrs Biden. I hadn't been on it much before. I had stopped talking to people a long time ago because it always turned ugly. So the only thing I can think is I was banned after blocking the two current WH residents.

As I said before.... I regret nothing. I stand by my decision. And if being banned from Twitter permanently is my punishment.... It's a very small price to pay... Especially considering it guarantees my not having to see anything from the Blindens

Neither did I... But that's the only thing I did in it for months. Normally I would just read through some of the people I was following. I stopped getting into discussions with the twits there because.... Well.... It didn't take much for things to turn ugly and I'm over trying to reason with the unreasonable.
So yeah... I'm banned... At least I won't have to see anything by Jill or Joe.... Kinda worked in my favor anyway.
