Trump’s Wall or the Media’s Wall of Lies
    By Daniel Greenfield

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

The government may shut down, but the media never shuts up. Instead it shuts away the truth.

It’s been two weeks since the Democrats shut down the government to stop border security. After their open borders created a humanitarian crisis on the border, they shut down the government and created another one in America. And then they spent two weeks blaming President Trump for their own crisis.

After two weeks of media lies resonating through the vast billion dollar echo chamber of dirty print newspapers, buzzing radio chatter, cable news panels kicking their legs on high chairs under high tables at CNN or MSNBC, all of it uploaded onto the web, President Trump took his message to the people.

The networks debated whether to censor him. Some suggested interrupting him with attacks disguised as “fact checks” while he was speaking. Others proposed not letting him speak at all.

Because they were afraid. Their narrative is a house of cards. Each card is another easily disproven lie. Illegal migration isn’t a problem. We don’t need a wall. All of this is a distraction from truly vital problems like the weather, the Russians and the election of a conservative politician in Brazil.

And then President Trump spoke. And their fears were realized as he laid out a comprehensive case not just for a wall, but for America. He spoke of the drugs and the violence spilling over the border. He called out the absurd lie that walls don’t work. He spoke of lost jobs and lost lives. Of the women that are raped and children that die as they are driven like cattle by coyotes in search of a few thousand dollars.

“In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records, including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 violent killings. Over the years, thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country, and thousands more lives will be lost if we don’t act right now,” President Trump declared.

He listed horrific crimes, only a few of the many lives taken, lost, broken and torn apart every week.

“How much more American blood must we shed before Congress does its job?” President Trump asked. “This is a choice between right and wrong, justice and injustice. This is about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American citizens we serve.”

But the choice had been made long before the speech. And everyone already knew the answer.

The real Democrat response didn’t come from a grim Schumer and a bedazzled Pelosi, the odd couple in some terrible remake of the Munsters, but from the media which acts as the messaging arm of the Left. The instant shrieks rose from the echo chamber of the media id, “liar”, “racist” and “monster”. Out came the editorials in the guise of fact checks. Illegal aliens, we were told, are surprisingly law abiding.

The Democrat and media talking points were indistinguishable. The border doesn’t really need securing. Or it needs “smart” security instead of a barrier. The only crisis at the border comes from enforcing the law. And when he mentioned that ICE had arrested 30,000 sex offenders, it was really only 29,999.

And, unintentionally, Pelosi, Schumer and the media had answered President Trump’s question.

“How much more American blood must we shed before Congress does its job?” This is a no limit game. Dead Americans clear space on the voting rolls for people even more likely to vote Democrat. Each dead American and live illegal alien is a net Democrat gain and a strategic leftist demographic victory.

American blood lubricates the voting machines, the gerrymandered districts and the election strategies of Pelosi, Schumer and their ilk.

The more Americans die, the more Democrats win.

“Day after day, precious lives are cut short by those who have violated our borders. In California, an Air Force veteran was raped, murdered, and beaten to death with a hammer by an illegal alien with a long criminal history. In Georgia, an illegal alien was recently charged with murder for killing, beheading, and dismembering his neighbor. In Maryland, MS-13 gang members who arrived in the United States as unaccompanied minors were arrested and charged last year after viciously stabbing and beating a 16-year-old girl,” President Trump said, speaking passionately about the horrors of illegal migration.

MS-13 has a stronghold within view of the White House. Illegal alien killers roam free, protected by sanctuary state and city laws that are not only illegal, but that cost the lives of innocent Americans.

It’s not that Pelosi and Schumer don’t believe a wall would work. They oppose a wall because they fear that it would work all too well and end the tide of illegal aliens into fake Democrat districts.

“Some have suggested a barrier is immoral. Then why do wealthy politicians build walls, fences, and gates around their homes? They don’t build walls because they hate the people on the outside, but because they love the people on the inside. The only thing that is immoral is the politicians to do nothing and continue to allow more innocent people to be so horribly victimized,” President Trump said.

Walls work. But so do lies.

President Trump is one man. The media is an army. For 9 minutes and 35 seconds, he was able to speak the truth to the nation. But for the next 24 hours, and all the hours, days and weeks afterward, the media’s lies will choke the truth out of existence, its fact checkers will scour social media for stories to censor, and anyone who disagrees will be fired, boycotted or threatened.

    That’s the uphill battle.

We have reached a terrible point where the media openly entertains the thought of censoring the President of the United States because he will speak unwelcome truths that they wish to hide.

The choice is between Trump’s wall and the media’s wall of lies. It’s between having a nation with borders, or a geographical accident stuffed full of welfare states with no borders and no free speech.

For two weeks the media has been lying to anyone who will listen. And it isn’t about to stop.

The media has built a wall of lies around the nation. Like the emperor’s new cloak, its lies are invisible, they prey on weak minds and foolish hearts. And the most powerful nation in the world walks around with naked borders, its people prey to every gang member and terrorist who can cross the border.

A naked nation gazes adoringly at the imaginary reflection it sees in the media’s wall of lies. The media tells it how noble it is not to have a border, how kind it is not to the mind the murders and how powerful being weak makes it. Trump’s speech pits a true wall against the media’s wall of lies.

    Which wall will prevail?

For two weeks, President Trump had called their bluff. For two weeks, the media ranted and raved. And enough Republicans stood by him that a wall of will rose in place of the missing border wall.

Trump’s speech and the response by Schumer and Pelosi was a test of wills. But the ultimate test is the one faced by the people of this nation. Will they choose a wall or the media’s wall of lies?

“When I took the Oath of Office, I swore to protect our country. And that is what I will always do, so help me God,” President Trump concluded.

That is the fundamental question. Will we protect our country? Will we have a country to protect?

This is an absolutely shocking statement and would be both outrageous and completely irresponsible for any journalist to make ... unless he was telling the truth. And sadly Mr. Greenfield is speaking the absolute truth! What an indictment of the Party of the Left! But, then, they have self-interest as their guide (as do most political entities) and therefore their actions are understandable. However the greater indictment is against those Americans who support their current platform and that of the left run states who have created these illegal local laws that effectively overturn the legal laws of the federal government. There can be no understanding of their motives: theirs, therefore, is the greater condemnation.

This nation is called United States of America. that is its name; sadly it is no longer its truth. The once-United States is now a Balkanized mess, perfect fodder to ripen the fruit which the socialist hanker to pluck. Whether they eventually succeed or not is in the hands of the American voters who are still capable of thinking logically. And the fundamental question is, indeed, as Mr. Greenfield asks, "Will we protect our country? Will we have a country to protect?"

Try to have à rational conversation with the VAST majority of gen-X and gen-Z folks about actual history, the constitution, branches of government., right vs. wrong, etc., and the answer to the question is a resounding NO.
And sadly the same is true for folks in the older groups, just not as prevalent. This reprobate thinking is also becoming the norm in "churches" now.
So there are not enough of us left to "out-vote" the socialists in this country, and overcome the voter fraud. Laws don't mean squat to people these days, and justice being served by the judicial system???? Nah-------

So IS all this liberal illogicality a foreshadowing of the great deception, or is it actually it, or the beginning of it? Is it already happening? Or do the observable symptoms just point to the propensity for deception, the ripeness?

    2 Thess 2:
1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him, we ask you, brothers, 2not to be easily disconcerted or alarmed by any spirit or message or letter presuming to be from us, alleging that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness—the son of destruction—is revealed. 4 He will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

5 Do you not remember that I told you these things while I was still with you? 6And you know what is now restraining him, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one who now restrains it will continue until he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival.

9 The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, 10 and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. 11 For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, 12 in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.

So are the symptoms we now see the start of the "coming on" of the MOL in v9? Are things like moral relativism, humanism, transgenderism, homosexuality, etc the, or among the "wicked deceptions" described?

I would say so, but maybe we ain't seen nothin' yet?

It's like Pelosi told Kirstjen Nielsen (sp) the other day "I reject your facts". Simple as that. Kirstjen said "they are not MY facts, they are THE facts." Rejected. Let alone the Gospel of Jesus Christ Truth, these people reject even plain facts, such as gender, let alone stats on border security.

Alaska's own mini-pelosi, senator murkowski, is pretty much siding with the Democrats with regards to the shutdown. I wish we'd stop electing her but the system is setup to strongly favor incumbents.
