Trump tells CNN to shift conservative and make him their main attraction

Ron DeSantis record as Governor speaks for itself. He has shown the strength it takes to stand up to the far left media, and has done so in a fairly humble manner.

I strongly suspect Trump will tear the party apart if or when he feels he is no longer the champion of the GOP. I would hate to see the man I voted twice for become the gift that keeps on giving to the left. His uncontrollable mouth is a political liability that wont work for him as it did in the past.

I still hope he announces next week he will not enter the race, but also understand its probably a done deal he will run.
100% agree!!!!!

I'd like to see Ron DeSantis remain gov'ner of Florida for now. He's done a lot of good for that state and for the people of Florida, I hope he stays there as gov'ner for now. He was just re-elected. He should stay there for the rest of his term, IMHO.
I suspect he does want to stay on as governor, but he will recieve lots of pressure from the party to run. I believe he does desire to someday be President, but at age 44, he can easily wait until the 2028 election cycle.

The main difference IMO for Trump this time around is many senior GOP members in Congress will not be intimidated to speak their mind as was the case in the past. Trump for now, is not as strong as he was, but he being Trump, may again rise to the top of the heap.

Just to be clear, Im not anti Trump, nor am I one who believes everything he says is golden.

If Trump manages to win the nomination, I would have no problems voting for him. However, for now, Im not so sure I would vote for him in the primary, which would be dependent upon who else is running.

I think Trump has a lot of work to do to win back the millions who have grown tired of his antics, but many like me, are hoping he can do so.

My fear is simply this. Trump will tear the party in half due to his pride/ego. He might have been a help to the nation while he was president, but what people don’t understand about pride it’s that it completely blinds you. This is why Trump has not changed, pride makes you think only you know what is right causing you to ignore healthy advice from those around you. This will be Trumps downfall.

This is my personal prediction of 2024 election. I fear Ron Desantis and Trump might actually both run. However, I see a scenario of Trump starting a private party once he realizes a lot of republicans have chosen Ron Desantis. The strong Trump supporters will still support Trump no matter what. This will take millions of votes from the Republican Party and giving them to a Trump private party. The democrats will remain intact and swiftly win 2024 because of the Republican division. This is a very possible scenario in my opinion.

The democrats basically don’t have a leader. However, if they are smart all they need to do is push Trump and Ron Desantis to run at the same, then watch it all crumble for the republicans. Maybe it’s why they invaded Trumps mansion? To get him agitated so he could run? Ron Desantis recent win only embolden him causing people to push him to run as president?

I don’t see this ending well in 2024 if Trump continues going down this path. I think a lot of Christians have given Trump a pass on a lot of his pride moments (myself included). However this might end very bad in 2024.

I really think we should take into consideration the slander and lies and lawsuits he has been put through since 2016
How many of us could stand up against that and not lose our minds? We have the Lord at least to help us, I can’t say the same for him.

I don't think there's another human being that could have gone through what he has and remained standing. He's truly one of a kind, in a lot of ways. I wouldn't have lasted two days in his shoes.

All that being said I don’t know why I even care when I do not believe for one second we will ever have a fair election again.

We should never stop caring.

But if you look closely there are so many known RINOs getting behind RD.
What does that tell you about RD? It shows as a POTUS, he would be totally beholden to fake liberal-Republicans.

The thing about Trump was he wasn't compromised by rising up through the political structure that has evolved in such a way that, with rare exception, you don't stay in the game if you're not playing the game others want you to play. I'd like to see more non-politicians run for higher office. A political science degree or a lawyer's degree or 30 years in politics doesn't make a person more capable of making good decisions on behalf of the country. In fact, a background in politics probably makes it less likely that the person will serve their country well while in office.

Be Wise, Mr. Trump, or Begone

I want to begin this article by unequivocally stating that I believe Donald Trump was an outstanding president, by far the best America has had since Ronald Reagan. Nobody even close. If he were still serving in the Oval Office, the country would be in much better shape than it is right now. That is an absolute to me. If he is the best candidate in 2024, I will support him again.

But…

Mr. Trump has been acting lately like he thinks he has some sort of divine right to the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nomination, and some wise soul needs to correct him that no, he does not, not by a long shot. It matters not one whit what he has done in the past; the future is all that counts, and he must do two things to EARN the nomination: one, prove he is superior to every other possible candidate, and two, convince party faithful that he can win the presidential election in 2024. He isn’t the only Republican out there, he isn’t even the only good, qualified one. Demonstrate to us, Mr. Trump, that you are indeed the best and will win, and we will all back you 100 percent. But that confidence must be earned every election cycle; you aren’t born with it, and 2020 isn’t a good enough reason to freely give you the nomination in 2024. A lot of things can change in four years.

Donald Trump, like every other human being, is flawed. He spent most of his life as a businessman, a brilliant one, and only in the last seven years or so has he thrown his hat into the political arena. Not being a lifelong politician means that, at times, he doesn’t really play that game very well, and, frankly, says and does some incredibly stupid things. He always has.

I wouldn't call Gavin Newsom a leader, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is a Democrat that will run for President in 2024. I am hoping we are not here to find out. :rapture

Didn't RNC Chairperson Ronna McDaniel say that the GOP wouldn't support him in another run for POTUS right after the 2020 election was stolen? I know recently she commented how the GOP wouldn't be paying Trump's legal bills even if he does decide to run in 2024. She also recently stated the GOP would remain neutral in the 2024 presidential primary. She also indicated that what she wanted Trump to do was help the GOP win back the majority in this past week's mid-terms - unfortunately, that didn't work out very well.

Btw, lightofmylife, I'm starting to hear scuttlebutt that it's not Gruesome the Demonrats are going to run, but Josh Shapiro, who sadly won the gubernatorial race this past week in PA. From what I've heard, he's very good at playing a "moderate" Demonrat when he's campaigning and getting elected, but once in office he'll go full-on 100% Communist Demonrat. It kind of makes sense, if the Demonrats could ever make sense, because Gruesome has a record and CA is proof of what the Demonrat agenda looks like when it's fully implemented. I was of the opinion that most American voters wouldn't want the entire country to look like CA. But now that it's looking like it was the Gen-Zers getting out to vote to keep it legal to murder innocent babies and getting more free stuff like money to pay off their student loans, I'm not so sure Gruesome or Shapiro won't get elected in 2024 if one of them is the Demonrat candidate. I truly believe this country is finished and there will never be a sane, strong, conservative POTUS and the GOP will never again be the majority in the House or Senate ~ not only because of Demonrat cheating, but because there are way too many RINOs in office now. Including Ms. McDaniel's uncle, Mitt Romney. :ohno

One huge thing to take into consideration is Paula White and her ilk have been in Trumps ear the whole time promoting “kingdom now” theology and name it and claim it ….”speaking things into existence"

There was a story in the old testament about an evil ruler or king who was throwing a lavish party for his friends and
comrades, and making more evil plans. In a moment, God wrote a note on the wall...........menne menne tenkel or something.........
meaning that before the night was over his life would be taken..........and the evil king died on the spot. His kingdom was gone.

Brothers and Sisters, I believe the handwriting is on the wall once again now. There is no hope left for here for our country.
Nor for the world. The count-down clock is ticking and there are mere seconds to go. There are no options for a good leader anymore,
save our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Mankind is shaking his fists at God and putting themselves in the role of god and NOTHING good can
come of it. No one can turn the tide now...........except our Lord.

Pray for God's will to be done. Share the Good News with everyone you can and pray for them to receive salvation now. Look up,
because He is coming SO soon for us.
