I consider myself an independent now; 99% of Repubs are jut worthless parasites who are really in the job for the material benefits.

I've been self-censoring for some time likes and participation in some threads. Not worried for me, but worried about Dad, in case they come for me (who'll take care of him?) or in case they come for him because of ISP (he shouldn't suffer for something I said or agreed with/disagreed with online). If it were just me, I wouldn't care or worry, so wouldn't bother self-censoring.

However, TPTB are already taking action based on political statements, "bigotry" about extramarital and other-than-heterosexual sex, etc. Pretty benign compared with other countries. But it's ramping up [sigh] and Dad is very elderly and frail and wouldn't withstand much, probably not even someone just coming to the door and asking questions or receiving a letter in the mail [sigh]
