At least 25 cars derailed from a train in Montana on Sunday, spilling their contents onto the ground and into a nearby body of water.
First responders say there is no threat to the public, but there has yet to be confirmation about what the affected containers were carrying. Montana Rail Link, which owns the railroad, is aware of the situation, but the company that owns the train has yet to be identified, according to NBC Montana.
The Sanders County Sheriff's Office did not respond to multiple requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
There have not been any reported injuries from the crash.
The Montana crash comes less than a week after 70-car train hauling hazardous materials derailed in North Dakota.
In that incident, a Canadian Pacific train derailed around 11:15 p.m. roughly a mile southeast of Wyndmere in Richland County, the company said in a statement.

Now we see through a glass, darkly; (1 Cor 13:12)
All these derailments lately can’t simply be random occurrences. It’s all being done on purpose. The wickedness runs so deep, that only God Himself can see the true depth of it. We only see the tip of the iceberg…

I thank Jesus every day that I belong to Him forever and have nothing to fear!

So true God knows everything. These people with their wickedness isn't fooling God. It is a peaceful comforting thought to know that Christians have the Blessed Assurance that we will live forever with :fish in heaven. We can lay our heads on our pillows knowing all is well with our soul.

Trail derailments, tornadoes, earth quakes, storms, flooding, people going nuts with shootings and violence, racial hatred, a small percentage of people with mental sin-illnesses (such as "gender dysmorphia" and "transwhatevertheweathercallsfor") getting entirely too much attention and being pushed on kids..... I have questions that no one may be able to answer. How much of this is media hype, how much is done on purpose by greedy leaders, and how much is a sign of the times... Is it getting worse and worse, or is it getting more hype? Does it seem like the world is falling apart, or is everything falling into place?
Sometimes I listen to the news and think things are insane. And then I wonder if it's always been this way and it just wasn't being reported as much as it is now.
I've started listening to Police scanners lately. DH thinks I'm insane..... That's actually a strong possibility...... but I'm painfully curious about what's going on. And there's always something going on. Constantly.
Like I said, my head is always full of questions I'm not sure anyone can answer.
I'm going to keep watching and observing.... I don't find it depressing to watch and observe because I'm looking for signs showing if we'll really be going home soon. How much worse will it get - does it need to get - before we're caught up?

Edit- Sorry if I rambled a bit off topic.

https://www.aar.org/news/fra-2022-safety-data-reflects-industrys-safety-commitment/

One could question these numbers, but as far as I know, the FRA is the only one keeping records. According to them, there are an average of three train derailments every day in the US. You don't hear as much about them because most of them are not hazmat accidents.

Less derailments than there used to be. Track defects are usually the biggest reason for it.

Washington, D.C. – March 3, 2023 – Newly released data from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) confirms that thanks to railroad employee commitment to safety and ongoing industry investments, U.S. railroads continue to maintain a strong safety record. The train accident rate is down 28 percent since 2000, and the last decade was the safest ever.

Notable statistics, calculated per million train miles using data released in March 2023 by FRA, include:

  • Class I railroads’ mainline accident rate is at an all-time low and down 49 percent since 2000. For all railroads, that rate has declined 44 percent since 2000.
  • For all railroads, the derailment rate is down 31 percent since 2000, but despite that longer-term positive trend, it was up by 5 percent year-over-year.
  • Track-caused accidents are down 55 percent since 2000 and are at their lowest-ever rate across the entire rail industry.
  • Equipment-caused accidents were down 21 percent since 2000 but increased by 15 percent compared to 2021.
  • Per Class I railroad employee, the casualty rate has dropped 63 percent since 2000 and is at an all-time low.
  • Per carload, the hazardous materials (hazmat) accident rate is down 78 percent since 2000 and the lowest ever based on preliminary Bureau of Explosives data.
“Last month, we all saw the devastating impact a train derailment can have on a community, and we are committed to continuing our industry’s efforts to prevent what happened in East Palestine from happening elsewhere,” said Association of American Railroads (AAR) President and CEO Ian Jefferies. “This data makes clear that our employees’ strong safety culture, paired with the sustained, disciplined investments in maintenance and technologies that target the primary causes of accidents, deliver meaningful safety results. There is more work to do, but FRA’s data clearly reflects railroads’ steadfast safety commitment.”

U.S. railroads also continue to make strides in workplace safety. The employee casualty rate across all railroads is down 49 percent since 2000. Additionally, workplace fatalities have dropped 54 percent since 2000.

“Railroad workers are among the hardest-working and most dedicated workers in this economy, and keeping them safe on the job is paramount,” said Jefferies. “We know there is more work to do to keep getting better in all aspects of rail safety, but the progress we continue to make demonstrates that we will do what it takes to meet that challenge.”

The newly released FRA data also demonstrated areas where additional work is necessary to drive down risk and enhance safety, such as equipment-caused accidents noted previously. Additionally, while human factor-caused incidents are down 15 percent compared to 2000, the rate of these types of accidents increased 13 percent compared to last year, which also drove the yard accident rate up year-over-year.

Over 95% of rail-related fatalities are trespassers or grade crossing users. The combined total of trespasser and suicide fatalities for 2022 increased by 4% from 2021. Grade crossing collisions were down 23% last year compared to 2000, but along with trespass incidents, these preventable accidents remain persistent challenges across the rail industry.

This is happening all too frequently and the locations (always into a water source/in prime farmland) are all too perfect to not be domestic terrorism.

Sadly, I don't even think it's foreign actors; I think one day, hindsight will prove these actionss are actually being done by shadow elements within our own govt.

They are systematically laying the ground for famine.

food processing plants going up in flames..

train wrecks spilling chemicals and toxins into fresh-water supplies and ruining agricultural land...

Govt agents claiming "bird flu" as an excuse to force small, non corporate farmers into destroying their chickens...

..sociopaths like Gates buy up the farmland or it gets sold to China..

It stopped being a "conspiracy theory" a while ago..

I did a search for number of train derailments per year and found this information on Newsweek site.
In 2021, there were 1,087 derailments that resulted in 83 injuries and three fatalities, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics. That's down from 1,440 derailments in 2011 and down from 2,234 derailments in 2001.

Between 1990 and 2021, there were a total of 54,570 derailments, for an average of 1,705 a year.

With that figure averaging to about 142 derailments a month, 2023 is so far on track to continue the declining trend in yearly incidents.

So information says that we are having fewer derailments then we used too. I think they are just getting more publicity for some reason.

There is a major North / South rail yard near us. It is not uncommon around here, to hear of, or see trains derailed. I’ve seen locomotive engines completely buried. It is amazing to see how far into the ground those freight cars will push a engine.

Once I saw 3 D9 Caterpillar dozers, the huge ones, trying to pull a engine out of the ditch it dug itself into.

A number of years ago, there were discussions that would get shut down because some viewed them as "conspiracy theories." I haven't heard that mentioned for the last two or three years--all of the previously forbidden ideas are now so blatantly thrown in all our faces that it is no longer hard to believe there is an agenda at work--nefarious behind-the-scenes powers. Now evil is staring us in the face and is not even trying to hide.
