Todd White

Anewcreationinjesus

Come Lord Jesus!!!!!!
Dunno if anyone has heard but apparently Todd White has gone on record as saying he hasn't preached the "full gospel" having left out mentioned of sin, hell. ...am not sure if Calvinist teachers associated with "American Gospel" have been talking to him ....their version of the Gospel has been discussed on other threads ...

There are many videos of Todd White so folks can watch for themselves to see what he has taught - he has very much been in with NAR etc ...

I guses we can pray into this situation including those who have followed Todd White ....

It does not sound as though Todd is going to shut down his lucrative ministry and heretical school in any great hurry and learn/unlearn some things. He states he will never lose his belief in signs and wonders, and this includes many kundalini manifestations, leg-lengthening tricks etc. His newfound admiration for teachers like Ray Comfort (who teaches Lordship Salvation, see recent video from Understanding the Times on YouTube) and Spurgeon (who believes Augustine and Calvin had the greatest enlightenment on the gospel and that all in Heaven will share these "truths") is cause for concern. Andrew Wade has a good article on this situation.
Time will tell if this is genuine and if Todd will sincerely leave charismania and take the time to "de-program" himself and separate truth from error. He should certainly stop teaching others (which Doreen Virtue should also do if she truly acknowledges her salvific vision of Christ was possibly demonic, which it surely was).
I personally think Todd will become a reformed charismatic (the worst of both worlds, IMO),ie. a more hyper version of Matt Chandler, who Addie Miller has some interesting messages about on KELB radio.

I thought Todd was that slimey fat tatted up religious guy who looks like he’d bleed pus if you sliced into his flesh, so I had to look him up. Lol, that’s quite the ....ahem.....interesting hairdo. It was hard for me to give up the (false) hope WoF and charismania gave me, and I didn’t have a $$$$ making ministry.

Yes, I've heard of this Todd White. He claimed that he made peoples legs grow and all other types of chicanery. I recently came across an interesting video that Justin Peters did on him. It was interesting and informative. Yes, it's unfortunate that Justin has Calavinistic leanings, but this was an interesting take on Todd's alleged change of heart, especially since he still affirms Kenneth Copeland. I'm sorry, I don't know how you can have a change of heart and still rub shoulders and exalt Kenneth Copeland, Bill Johnson, et al.

Did you mean to say Bill Johnson rather than Phil Johnson? The latter is a Calvinist who exposes charismatic error and is on John MacArthur's "team". Todd White exalts Bill but not Phil at this time, but who knows what may happen in the future.....

That's exactly right. I have been a mess today. Ha! I corrected it and thanks.

It is easy to get one's heretical Todds confused. They look and behave quite differently but have many of the same false doctrines. When Kenneth Hagin was alive, people had the same trouble with two heretical Kenneths on the scene!

Yeah that hair is a symbol of pride.
Actually it is also a mockery.
SMH.
Even if he did speak the truth , his dreadlocks would completely distract you.
Several other observations I noticed as well which would also go with the pride theme.
I don't have time for these jokers.
They have and do a disservice for the rest of us who preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with His Holy Word.
Receiving salvation by grace through faith.

Todd White repents of failing to preach 'the whole Gospel,' calls out American Church
Lifestyle Christianity leader Todd White has publicly repented for failing to preach the whole Gospel and criticized the American Church for refusing to address sin and repentance to a watching world.

In an emotional message delivered Sunday, White, a former drug addict turned evangelist, revealed he recently underwent a season of painful “pruning” where God impressed upon him the importance of preaching on the topic of sin and the need for a Savior.

“If people don’t know they’re sinners, they won’t see their need for a Savior,” the Watauga, Texas-based pastor said. “This is hard for people. This is hard for me, because I feel like I haven't preached the whole Gospel. And I repent. I repent. You have no idea. I will not be responsible. I believe that when I preach that the blood of people is on my hands.”

“I’m convicted. I am not perfect but I am strongly convicted. I feel like I just met Jesus again. There's just this rekindled thing inside of me. This has been the hardest season of my life. I'm like, ‘Lord, what are you doing?’ He said ‘I'm pruning every branch that you have.’ I'm like, ‘It's not OK. It hurts.’ And He said, ‘If you were dead, it wouldn't hurt. There are parts of you that need to die, so I’m going to kill them.’”

The pastor has previously been criticized for promoting the prosperity gospel, which teaches in part that believers have a right to the blessings of health and wealth. Such blessings can be obtained through positive confessions of faith and the "sowing of seeds" through the faithful payments of tithes and offerings.

Costi Hinn, nephew of Benny Hinn, denounced White as “one of the most famous ‘next generation’ versions” of his uncle and others.

White was also featured alongside other prosperity teachers, including Hinn and Joel Osteen, in the Netflix film "American Gospel," which “examines how the prosperity gospel ... has distorted the Gospel message, and how this theology is being exported.”

After viewing "American Gospel," White condemned the film as “demonically inspired."

But in his sermon Sunday, the evangelist said he believes God is “correcting” him for failing to preach the whole Gospel in the past.

“Nevertheless, Lord, your grace is sufficient for me,” he said.

White revealed that the writings of famed theologian Charles Spurgeon and evangelist Ray Comfort have been “rocking” him. He referenced Comfort’s parachute illustration, which explains the dangers of embracing Christianity in hopes of achieving a better life.

“When you come into the Gospel because you come in for a better life, you’ve come in for the wrong Gospel,” he stressed. “When you come to Jesus because He’s going to give you this and give you this, you really didn’t surrender.”

The Bible says we are “dead” in our sin, White said. “We have to somehow get to people and not just promise them a better flight. Am I the only one that’s convicted to the core? This isn’t legalism, it’s the truth. There is a day of wrath coming. It’s no joke.

“We have to know that we’ve sinned against God. I saw this when I got saved. And for some reason, it's taken me 16 years to explain it. And I feel like I've just seen something completely brand new. What I won't ever do is take the miraculous out of the Gospel. It's a miracle that I can come to Jesus through all my junk and all my sin and Him say, ‘Not guilty.’ That's a miracle.”

The Church in the U.S. has largely “overlooked” the reality of sin and the need for a savior, White said.

“The Gospel brings conviction,” he said. “Righteousness is the answer. I want to be convicted of sin, leave my sin, leave that, and enter into being convicted of righteousness. That’s the goal of the Gospel.”

“What is the sign of repentance? That you hate sin. Your goal as a Christian is to be conformed into His image, is to be transformed into His image, into His likeness, and to actually walk like Christ walked. Jesus didn’t despise sinners, but He hated sin and He addressed it all the time. He said words like ‘sinners’ to people that were in sin. Yet He loved them and everybody followed Him. What has flip-flopped in the Church today?”

White warned that one day, every human will “face the Lord,.”

“I've been going through it, buddy. I've been in a new place to bring the reality of the law into a witness, to show a person their need for grace," he said. "How can you want to be found if you don't know you're lost? How can you want to see if you don't know you're blind? How can you want to live if you don't know that you're dead?”

White said he believes there’s a “movement on the earth of twisted demonic stuff,” adding, “We do not have a license to live however we want. That’s not true. That’s not the Gospel. We live like Christ, we be imitators of God.

“If we don’t see that we sinned against a holy God, there really can’t be repentance, and that’s it. Totally different. Who is this Todd guy? This Todd guy got hammered by the Lord. He’s still doing. It’s a hammering and pruning and it’s a good thing. He loves me. We’re about to step into something beautiful and wonderful.”

He concluded: “We have to get it right, our foundation has to be completely solid, and there can’t be any holes. This is the Gospel.”

I will be the first one to tell anyone not to believe everything and to test all things by the scripture and the Holy Spirit.

I just watched the message where Todd repented of preaching a different gospel. All I can say is WOW!!!! I was brought to tears by the sorrow in his heart when he confessed/repented that he had not been preaching about sin and repentance and that God holds him responsible for the souls that hear his message. How refreshing!!! Many mega-church leaders would do well to reflect on this fact!

I have not heard fearful, sorrowful, and pennant preaching like this in a long time. I think God is definitely up to something.

On a side note, and I say this with humility and love... I personally love R. Comfort and Spurgeon. Dare I say, that even J. Calvin :peek had some good fruit in part of his doctrine :shocked (we can't deny that the US Republic/Democracy is based on a lot of his tenants). We definitely need to discern but lets be careful not to toss the baby out with the bath water because after all, we still live in a sinful/fallen world where God's grace is sufficient. Let us be as shrewd as serpents but as harmless as doves.

This will be an interesting story to follow and see how things shake out but it is definitely a step in the right direction.

Todd White, who can turn on tears as quickly as Margaret O'Brien and Shirley Temple could before a camera (though less convincingly) has just come out with an egotistical rant against people who have been critical of his "ministry". He states that he has been reading Comfort and Spurgeon since he (believes he) got saved years ago. He also praises Andrew Murray (who was not without some strange doctrines, eg his book on The Spirit of Christ which teaches a version of modalism) and Michael ("the NAR doesn't exist and Pensecola manifestations were of God") Brown.
I honestly think this very deluded and self-absorbed man is a shrewd attention-seeker and performer who is playing games for the sake of publicity and gain. Like his spiritual father Kenneth Copeland, he has a huge mansion and is no doubt working his way up to his first jet. I plan to give him not one iota of attention from this day forth.
Christ said "Let them alone. They are BLIND GUIDES".
