The Tin-Foil Hat Brigade

I Shall Not Be Moved
I think the scoffing is worse now than a year ago, by believers and non believers.
I was reading a discussion last night and saw so much disbelief regarding the Rapture.
I guess it was believers?? They had all kinds of scripture bent like a pretzel to *prove* their points. I dont participate in those talks.

The Tin-Foil Hat Brigade
By Pete Garcia

But even more so, Satan hates the fact that Christ will come again, this time to dethrone him as the de facto ruler of this age. (2 Cor. 4:4) Satan despises the Church because we are untouchable in regards to our salvation. But like I mentioned in the previous brief, our eternal security is not going to prohibit Satan from doing his best to render us ineffective. That is the only tool he has left in his kit bag against Christians. So he has invested much energy in turning the world’s opinion against even the possibility that Christ could/would return.

The Pre-Tribulation Rapture then is just icing on the cake, because when we are caught up, we will be transiting through Satan’s domain. (Eph. 2:2, 6:12), and will be victoriously paraded in front of the entire Satanic host as Christ’s prized possessions of untouchables. In fact, I think that Michael the Archangel makes the announcement with a shout so that all the angelic hosts of heaven will line our parade. The Rapture will be then, a divine rubbing of salt in Satan’s wound. After all, aren’t we supposed to be salt and light? And as much as salt is a preservative, it’s also an irritant…and we have been an irritant to Satan and his agenda now for 2,000 years.

The whole of the article is spot on , and I especially like the above quoted parts, especially the divine rubbing of salt in Satan's wound.

So knowing what we know from Scripture, Christ will return again one day, first for His Church, and then secondly in judgment with His Church. (Jude 1:14; Rev. 19:7-10, 14) Furthermore, even if we are almost 2,000 years removed from when Christ walked the earth, the implications are that we have more information now, than we ever did to validate our supernatural faith. As the most prosperous nation, we were blessed with a complete Bible, religious liberty, and the nation of Israel stepping back into history, after a 1,900-year diaspora. If believing those things makes me a ‘prophecy nut’ sign around my neck, then I will gladly wear it. If it puts me in the “Tin Foil Hat” Brigade, then sign me up, because…
Great read from Pete, as all his articles are.

Most Christians still believe in a future return of Jesus and Resurrection of the saints. Regardless of denomination. Those doctrines are at the very heart of our faith. Not tinfoil hat material.

They don't all agree with the framework and ideas within dispensationalism. Or with interpretations of today's headlines.

The expectation is that we all agree on the details and timing of His return and that's where the frustration and alienation is coming from.

If people would leave Gods word in context, they wouldn't be confused. :diablois the author of confusion. We know in the days we are living in that we will have mockers questioning the promise of his coming. They don't have the faith and the hope that true believers do. As far as Christians there are those in name only. Some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing :devilish spirits and doctrines of devils. :diablo Rapture scriptures I Corinthians 15:51-56 and I Thessalonians 4:14-18.

I was watching something on Noah's Ark yesterday or the day before. I have no idea if it's truthful or a hoax but it seemed real and then I thought about what if we really DID find evidence of the Ark?

What do you think would happen?

I know in the past many of us have speculated (me included) that it would hit the news big time and be a real shock to all.

Except now that I'm older and far more cynical I think the biggest reaction would be to cover it up and create an elaborate lie that made it look like a hoax.

I think there is a good possibility that IF this or any other Noah's Ark find turned out to be genuine, the real deal, it would be suppressed in just the same way.

The Bible said something about suppression of truth. It's part of Romans 1:18 and it's in the context of denying the truth of creation.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

And I was thinking that goes for the truth of a world wide flood along with a lot of other things we've covered in this thread.

What if the truth about aliens (that they are demonic entities capable of elaborate lies) was even now being bent and crafted to appear as if they were real (think decades of Hollywood movies and TV). I love a good Star Trek episode but I'm well aware that the world view of Star Trek (and Gene Roddenberry) was one based on evolution and a socialist mind set that removed God out of the equation.

What if the truth about giants was carefully buried by the Smithsonian as some have documented?

The world is terrified of The Bible and especially of the GOD of the Bible. They suppress every evidence even if it doesn't make sense (evolution, non binary genders etc)

because if God is real and they reject Him, they know that hell awaits them. At some level the fearful reality of hellfire has to be suppressed even though it's the stuff of nightmares, and the reality they know is true at their very core.

They have to choose Christ (the very thing they don't want to do) in order to avoid hell. So they create alternate religions, alternate viewpoints, and carefully cover up the truth from themselves primarily to avoid the sheer terror of knowing what rejecting Christ means.

I was traveling this week for work and they aired this show on Noah's Ark on the Discovery channel. For years the Turkish government would not allow anyone to visit Mount Ararat, but now a team with advanced geophysical imaging equipment has surveyed the "anomaly" as they call it. There are YouTube videos and a website with the results of the scans. I will not post the website, but the lead researcher is Andrew Jones. Of course they also interviewed an academic in geology who specializes in geological formations and in his "expert" opinion the formation is just the result of natural causes. Big surprise - an academic who doesn't believe it could be the remains of an ark. Romans 1:22 "Professing themselves to be wise they became fools." I agree that even if they found that this was a vessel of some sort not only will they suppress the truth they will make up some other excuse.

There's a scripture verse about men in the end times that will deny the global flood. See #14 here:

Willingly ignorant. There is no excuse for those who reject God and His marvelous works/creation , nor His mighty hand of judgement.

Romans 1:19-20
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

I just read this whole article. It shook me to my core realizing the article was written 7 years ago and in that short amount of time, everything mentioned in there has exploded warp speed. The birth pangs are coming closer than ever with not much time in between each one! Keep looking up everyone. Jesus is coming soon!

When I think of the Tin-Foil Hat brigade, I think of Calvinists and Lordship Salvationists. I think one would have to grow or acquire.a tin foil hat to tune into their Gnostic, Augustinian, Calvinist Tulip man-made false theology.
Also, you need like some sort of tin foil hat like the ones these online preppers use for their lucrative never ending scare videos. They remind me of the Jim Bakker show with all the food buckets you are supposed to buy form him.
