The Rapture Report – Trump’s faith advisor: Christians must learn from Jews, not convert them
By Chris

I came across an article the other day that said that one of President Trump’s former spiritual advisors, Paula White, is telling people that we must learn from Jews, but not to try to convert them. This article was very disappointing, yet not surprising. I have seen may people when they had a chance to help win or save souls for the Kingdom of God, they took the easy way out so as to not offend that person or group of people. I’m sure that grieves the Lord tremendously.

While we can learn many things from Judaism such as learning about the Jewish feasts, traditions, etc. as they relate to Christianity, it is totally false that they do not need to come to the loving and saving faith of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible has clearly told us that:

Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:6

Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. Without Jesus, one can’t be saved. We ALL must decide on whether we will accept Jesus Christ’s completed work on the Cross as the payment of our sin debt during out lifetime. If someone fails to accept Jesus Christ’s work on the Cross, then they are lost and will end up in Hell. I am not judging or condemning people to Hell. I am merely telling the truth as told by the Bible. The truth of God can’t be compromised.

God does not send people to Hell. People send themselves to Hell by not accepting the one single remedy that God has provided to mankind for his sin problem. God’s remedy was to send His Son Jesus to pay the sin debt that we could never pay ourselves. The Bible tells us:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” – John 3:16.

You can’t earn your salvation. You can’t buy your salvation. You can’t get salvation from your church membership. Salvation is solely through the Jesus Christ and accepting by grace through faith His completed work on the Cross. To say that you can do the above is to insult the Lord Jesus Christ, who suffered a horrible death to pay our sin debt on the Cross. To say that you can earn, buy, etc. your salvation and that Jesus’ work on the Cross was not sufficient to pay the price is blasphemy. It is like saying to Jesus that your death on the Cross didn’t do enough to save me, so I had to help you. I would not want to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ and have to account for that.

Paula White is VERY wrong here. EVERY single human being on this planet needs Jesus. There is not one single person on this planet who can make it to Heaven on their own. When you take your last breath on this planet, your eternal destiny is determined then.

If you have accepted Jesus’ work on the Cross, you will find yourself in Heaven for eternity. If you do not accept Jesus’ work on the Cross, you will find yourself in Hell for eternity. It is that simple.

With that said, today is the day of Salvation. Don’t wait until tomorrow or at the end of today. For that could be too late as none of us are promised tomorrow. Don’t delay, make that decision TODAY!

An article in the Jerusalem Post detailed Paula White’s false teaching here:

“Former US President Donald Trump’s closest evangelical adviser, Florida pastor Paula White, believes Christians should learn from Jews rather than try to convert them, so much so that she is now in Israel studying Torah with Orthodox Jews.”

Further, Paula White stated:

White said that to be a good Christian, one must understand Judaism. “There are so many churches in America that are deeply hungry to understand Torah,” White said. “You can be Jewish without being Christian, but you cannot be Christian without understanding Judaism.”

Rather than take a traditional Christian tour, however, she opted to travel with Orthodox Rabbi Tuly Weisz of Israel365, an organization that builds bridges between Jews and Christians. She ascended the Temple Mount with former MK Rabbi Yehudah Glick; studied with Religious Zionist Rebbetzin Shani Taragin; walked through the streets of Jewish Hebron with Rabbi Simcha Hochbaum, director of tourism for the Hebron Fund; and visited Arugot Farms in the Judean mountains. She even spent a morning studying Torah at Nishmat – The Jeanie Schottenstein Center for Advanced Torah Study for Women.

"There is a new movement of Christians and Orthodox Jews coming together,” White told the Post. “We need each other. It is vitally important we continue to build these bridges.”

While I agree that Christians should embrace the Jewish people, Christians should NOT compromise on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can’t compromise the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ. Our allegiance is to God, not to men. Jesus was God in the flesh. Jesus was the only one who could ever pay the sin debt that His holiness and righteousness required.

The Jewish Temple has been gone for almost 2,000 years now. Animal sacrifices were a temporary solution to what seemed to be a permanent problem should mankind not have a Savior. Fortunately, mankind has a loving God the Father who found a way to solve this sin problem.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16.

That verse and others like it make it clear as can be that grace is offered to a man (or woman) if he/she will accept by faith the completed work on the Cross by Jesus Christ. We must repent of our sins, by recognizing the need for a Savior, and then trusting that Jesus Christ is who He said He was, and that when He said “It is finished” that the sin debt was paid once and for all. That we are saved and have eternal life by what Jesus Christ did. For the Bible tells us:

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” – 1 John 2:1-2.

Jesus will wash us in His blood from the Cross that will:

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” – Isaiah 1:18

Further…

“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:1-9

Finally,

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:5-9

I believe that today we find many Christians who under good intentions, try to “love” or “befriend” the Jewish people by compromising with them, and in doing so do not take the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to them. I have to ask these people, are we really “loving” them when we tell them it is okay to not have to trust in Jesus for their salvation? Are we really loving someone by compromising and watering down the Word of God that they believe a false gospel that misleads them, and they end up in Hell?

I will say that I will not compromise on God’s Word. I love the Jewish people. I have always supported Israel and the Jewish people. I will not compromise their salvation by not telling them the truth about Jesus. We are all sinners. All of us. And that includes myself as well. We all need a Savior. There is only one. Let me repeat one verse that I used at the beginning of this report to make the point:

Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:6

Bottom line, whether you are Jewish or not, if you have Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you will go to Heaven. If you do NOT have Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will go to Hell. It’s that simple.

Please, make a decision for Jesus Christ today. Jesus loved you enough to go to the Cross and die that horrible death, so that you could be with Him for Eternity. He will not make you choose Him. He will not force your hand and interfere with your Free Will. Everyone must make that decision for themselves.

We love you enough, whether you are Jewish or not, to tell you the truth about salvation and what Jesus Christ has done for you. We will not lie, deceive, or participate in telling you otherwise.

Make that decision today. Today is the day for salvation.

God bless you all.
