The Post Office fired me for honoring the Lord's Day. Supreme Court must make this right

I don’t know about this. If you are hired into an organization that works on Sunday I believe you have to work on Sunday. In my view it would be an impossible task to try to accommodate requests for accommodations on a Sunday. The worker could worship the Lord on another day.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out.
The postal service is union represented. If someone had been accommodated to not work on Sundays, while other people had to, grievances would have been filed and the practice would have been stopped. We had a guy who had worked for years, got married and converted to his wifes Seventh Day Adventist religion and no longer wanted to work on Saturday. He was told he had to work, resign or be fired. He resigned.
