Is it true that the mask-wearing during the Coronavirus pandemic is a sign of the New World Order IYO? IMO I think it has.

I don't think so. I see it as a sign of fear, confusion, and manipulation by those who have the platform to speak on the matter. People who wear it are either afraid or want to protect others. Either way, the information shared by the government and experts has been inconsistent and difficult to trust.

Many are divided regarding whether to wear it or not. I don't wear mine and have found sheer ones to wear to buy groceries. Others refuse to wear them at all. There is a lot of shaming going on too.

I do think we are heading to a one world system because of what the Bible says. Ultimately everything going on now is leading us to that place.

I have been thinking of making a few sheer masks, but where did you find one? I just cut the second layer of fabric out of the first ones I made, and they are still stifling trying to breath through 100% cotton.

I ordered a bundle off of Etsy and they are easy to breathe in. They don't fog my glasses either. I still hate them out of principle but they are great for going to stores that require them.

I also ordered a face shield but I'm not sure if that counts. That would be the best option since there is no fabric.

yup. I ordered a face shield. My face is covered so I can’t spray and sneeze everywhere so tough cookie. I can’t breath in the mask and have almost passed out a couple of times

Welcome to RF, @CodyRhodesDiva. We have a couple of other members who are on the autism spectrum. My wife and I both understand autism—from the severe to the mildest of Asperger's. She has worked with autistic children for years and has helped raise two. She also struggles with severe dyslexia, which poses its own learning and functioning issues. You will find many members dealing with a wide range of disability issues here.

Perhaps you would like to take a look at our testimony forum and share with us how you came to Christ and his impact in your life so that we may get to know you better.

I saw somewhere on RR that someone made a mask out of lace (someone outside of the US I think) .... would that "go" here.... would certainly make breathing easier.

I just saw some Cheeky posted, for sale on Etsy that were made of eyelet, so lots of little “air holes”! I also saw the mesh one made for hearing impaired so they can read lips. It looked VERY sheer. I may go to Joann Fabrics today and see what’s available in the way of mesh!!!!

Public Health England’s head of emerging infections Dr Jake Dunning said there is “very little evidence of a widespread benefit” in members of the public wearing masks.

“Face masks must be worn correctly, changed frequently, removed properly, disposed of safely and used in combination with good universal hygiene behavior in order for them to be effective,” he said.

For myself and after several years as a NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) weapons decontamination specialist while stationed at RAF Lakenheath UK for the U.S.A.F. I felt the need to point some things out that I have seen in public, that people are doing wrong concerning masks.

Never touch your mask with bare fingers if the mask has CoVid 19 droplets on it and you touch it, you just contaminated yourself, never talk on your cell phone or smoke or eat while wearing you mask, this will cause you to pull your mask down and you are no longer protected. Never take your mask off and leave somewhere like in the car and put it back on later your mask is no longer sterile, you just laid it in a contaminated environment and then stuck it back on your face. People often wear their masks incorrectly. Sometimes they only covered their mouth but left their nose exposed, there are gaps on the sides which let unfiltered air in. Others constantly touched and moved their masks around when you do that you just infected yourself. Plus, masks offer no protection for the eyes, which CoVid 19 can enter there.

If you are sweating and the sweat gets behind the mask you are infected, the sweat droplets caring CoVid is now behind your mask traveling down your sweat and you are sucking them right in. People who wear poorly constructed masks, in general, take more risks than they would have if they weren’t wearing masks. Even though their skimpy masks offered little to no protection, you may feel comfortable and safe and act that way, when in fact, you are not.

Dispose of your mask properly every 24 hours. Used face masks need to be sterilized or disposed of properly. If you are disinfecting multiple face masks, make sure that the wearers’ names are written on the masks and never used by anyone else. Ethylene oxide or heat treatment at 70C/160F for 30 minutes might be the best options for sterilizing porous/cloth face masks. Washing them in a washing machine helps but does not completely sterilize them, sterilizing them must be done every 24 hours to be effective, if you are not then it is useless. Once CoVid 19 is on you mask and you do not sterilize it and put it back on your face you are infected. As soon as you take your mask off you are exposing the inside of the mask to the elements.

I have seen people were the same mask day after day whether it is a surgical or cloth home made mask that is useless. Antibacterial soap is useless since CoVid 19 is a virus not bacteria. You will not know if CoVid is on your mask or not because you cannot see it, feel it, or touch it, just assume it is there and act accordingly.

I think it's time to get that new sewing machine I bought out of its box and fashion something out of an eyelet fabric blouse I never wear :lightbulb

I've been using the same mask since this thing started... will probably use it until it starts to fall apart.

Wet it with some water and nuke it on high for 2 minutes. I have done that with dish sponges for years and it kills all the germs. In a pinch, I spray my mask with alcohol, then zap it for a couple of minutes with my hair dryer on high. It may not be exactly “clinical”, but I dare those little suckers to live through the microwave!!!
