Everlasting Life
Through Faith in Jesus
Yet again, God has faithfully provided in unexpected ways.
There's a product I've found that is a fabulous cleaner/killer of mold and safe for kids and pets. By God's grace it came to my attention during our maintenance issues. It's a bit expensive but I decided to order 2 gallons online for delivery to a store for pick up. I wanted to make sure to have some on hand as access to products can be dicey, but needed to stay in budget.
I went to the store, presented my info and shopped for other items while waiting for retrieval from storage. When I came back to the pick up, I noticed that there was more product than what I had ordered. They were about to hoist them in the cart but I stopped them and opened one box to double check only to find there was indeed more than I had ordered and I then explained the situation to the cashier.
At that point the cashier called over her supervisor to explain what had happened. As they were checking things on the account, I was mentally deciding to perhaps purchase the extra product to make sure to have the product on hand since it's so helpful with my health and I never know what's going to be available to buy anymore.
They then explained to me that while I only payed for two gallons I was accidentally sent a larger order option and the warehouse had made a mistake. As I was about to just take what I had purchased of the product and offer to buy two more, the Supervisor moved to instead put both boxes in my cart! When I told him that I should probably just take what I had ordered, he said something like, "No, this was the warehouse's mistake, you get to go home with all of them at no extra charge!"
I was flabbergasted! I then asked him if he was sure about this not feeling quite right about it. In a no nonsense way as if their hands were tied, the Supervisor said that they couldn't do anything at this point and put the last box in the cart! It was as if I had absolutely no choice in the matter!
I later learned that when this happens they have no way of reselling as it's not a product they can just put on the shelf (it's online only) and it would just cost the company more to ship the product back. So, the way this all came together was as if God had determined that I was going to have what I needed plus more!
So, I was going home quite stunned at what just happened in receiving not only what I ordered and then what I wanted to order but even more than what I had wish to have on hand!! I just was profusely thanking God for an very unexpected blessing and provision of something that's been very important for my health to have on hand!! And, who knows, I can also be able to share with others as well.
