ok i know its mostly talking about the second coming of Christ

but some of the stuff was confusing me.

v. 14 talks about Judah fighting at Jerusalem. is this for or against?

and the last verse says that no canaanite will enter the house of the LORD...

what was a canaanite??? and what will a canaanite be?

It is a picture of Israel's restoration and her God fighting for her to set up the Messiah's throne and Temple for the MK. It reads as though Israel will be fighting, but we know from this side of the cross that it will be the King of Judah, Messiah Jesus, the Christ that will do it.

Cananites were Israel's worst enemy. They are a type of the gentiles because the Cananites were involved in every type of wickedness under the sun...perversion, homosexuality, beastiality, abortion, murder, etc. The Apostle Paul says in Ephesians that we too were once guilty of all these things, but now are changed in Christ Jesus. No Cananite, or wicked/unredeemed Gentile will enter into the New Jerusalem.
