Amir Tsarfati just wrote a post on Telegram saying the legislation was struck down and won't go to a vote.
Yeh, that's what I heard from Amir. The Orthodox trying to impress their constituents. It won't go anywhere.Apparently this has been going on for decades.
Amen. They'll need to get rid of the Old Testament too... if they want to wipe Jesus out of their books.
I have read recently that the Messianic movement has been building with the young people in Israel.
Sounds like Orthodox Jews don't like it and want to stop it.
Interesting times we live in................. God will have the final say.
They are nuts!!! That's why there will never be peace until HE comes back!I have a friend who had gone there for mission work. She had Jewish kids throwing rocks at her every day. The Orthodox Jews really do behave just as badly as the Palestinian Arabs on many occasions. I don't understand the Middle Eastern culture and mentality.
I heard that his own son is a believer ?Here is a follow up article
Netanyahu: Israel Won't Pass Laws Against ChristiansI want to begin this story by thanking Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
At 4:43 p.m. Israel time, he issued the following tweet in Hebrew and English to his 2.2 million followers.
"We will not advance any law against the Christian community."
The statement comes after All Israel News broke the story on Sunday that two ultra-Orthodox Members of Knesset introduced a bill to outlaw anyone from sharing the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah in Israel, and that violators would be punished with prison sentences.
