I Thessalonians 4:13-18 is for those who believed in Jesus that died will rise first, and those who are alive and remain go up next in the rapture. This explains paradise https://www.gotquestions.org/today-paradise.htmlI’m kind of confused on this.
In 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18 it says, “those who sleep in death”, and “so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” And
“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.”
Then it says in Luke 22, Jesus said to him, 'Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
So my confusion is which is it? When believers die are they asleep until the rapture? Is it just their bodies asleep but their spirits in heaven? How could it be both?
