I've got three races this coming week. On Sunday I run a 5K for Life to support FyndOutFree. The next day I run a 5K in the Alaska Senior Games and then on Wednesday I'll run the Alaska Senior Games 10K. These will be my first races of the season. Last year I managed one race in October despite the whole COVID mess. This year I think I'll be able to participate in a minimum of 8 races. I don't expect my times to be near my old guy PRs since I haven't been racing, just plodding along on my daily jogs, but maybe these early races will help me pick up my pace for the latter races of the season.
For those wondering why at his advanced age TT is still running, here's some secret info: Alaskans run to keep warm.
