While the UFO's identity is unclear, some Russian lawmakers are claiming it was a Ukrainian drone, though other civilians have wilder theories.

Russian air defenses reportedly shot down a UFO in the Rostov Oblast near the Ukrainian border on Tuesday, with local media outlets and Telegram channels sharing videos of a small object in the sky exploding. The news was first shared by Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev on Telegram, who claimed that it was spotted above the village of Sultan Sala.

Man, I really want them to push the alien story. I don't believe any of it for one second but it would be so very much amusing and help keep my spirits up in this time of uncertainty. Watching the media trying to convince us that aliens are real would entertain me for quite some time. "For the alien invasion you need to do your part and wear a mask, stay 6ft apart and...um...wait...wrong cue card. They were wearing MAGA hats...no...that's not the one. Just sit tight and we'll tell you what to do and think after these words from our sponsor. Buy their stuff".

There are some serious sightings that can't otherwise be explained.

As Billy Crone puts it describing people who've experienced these encounters: "they act like demons, they lie like demons, they talk like demons and guess what... they're DEMONS!" I think he's right on that. Even the way their UFO's bend the laws of physics turning at impossible speeds and blinking in and out of reality (such as Tucker Carlson had on Fox news when the govt declassified the videos), point to the deceptive nature of Satan and his minions. Prince of the power of the air and one who can appear as an angel of light at will. A liar and the Father of Lies.

Billy Crone isn't the only Christian writing about them --Ron Rhodes and Chuck Missler both said the same thing. LA Marzulli does too although his line of research leads him more into other aspects.

Even the secular researchers into the subject have noticed one peculiar group of people that don't get abducted-- born again, sincere Bible believing Christians! Jaques Vallee commented on it quite a lot.

And one name under heaven at which these deceptive little so and so's flee--the name of JESUS! The secular researchers can't explain it but we do have an answer in Christ for those troubled by the abduction phenomenon.

Billy Crone points out that whether it's "aliens" or other masqueraders speaking thru New Agers, they all hate Christ and Christianity and Christians. They all point to evolution and the one scripture that they hate is the Bible. They don't care if people enjoy the Koran, the Bagadva Gitta or other "holy" books, but the Bible is what they truly hate.

I think the reason they are so elusive is that we are living in a day and age when The Restrainer is restraining them from manifesting to their evil little heart's desire. After we are gone who knows. I don't know if they show up as aliens with the key to solving all our troubles or if they just carry on being sadistic little liars that prey on vulnerable unsaved people who've opened the doors to the supernatural like the Bible said NOT to do.

I knew Jaques Vallee has commented on the name of Jesus being the only thing that stops the activity, but I didn’t know he’d seen a pattern of believers not being abducted. Are you sure about that? It seems like something I’d have remembered when I read about it, but maybe I’m wrong. I’ll research it.

I happen to also believe Bigfoot sightings are real. Not all, obviously, but like UFO’s there are just too many to be explained. I think it’s a demonic manifestation. The amount of times UFO and paranormal activity both go along with a sighting is too significant to be ignored. I’d never once considered the Restrainer as the reason for Bigfoot’s elusiveness, but that makes a lot of sense. I have more to say, but I’m feeling a little embarrassed by my knowledge of this subject. :dilbert:book

I might be wrong on Jaques commenting on the believers but I thought Billy Crone had that in his book. I'll take a look and see if there's a footnote on that. I have the one by Chuck Missler and Mark Eastman as well, so maybe it was in there. Dr Rhodes was another who wrote on the subject, I have his book on my kindle and another one by Gary Bates. All with the same point. They run from the name of Jesus and from those who hold to a firm belief in Christ.

I agree with you about Big Foot. An interesting aside-- people who've encountered the Big Foot or the Yeti depending on where in the world it pops up comment on a stench. And apparently there's a stink of sulphur with the aliens too. At least from the reports in the 5 books I have by Christians on the subject.

I think apologetics includes having a good solid biblical answer to those who suffer from these demonic attacks that they recall as alien abductions and experimentation. A good solid biblical world view isn't easily shaken when it's rooted and grounded in the Bible even if so called aliens land with lies about coming in peace to "help". Because Jesus can set these ones free.

I read about it because it interests me and because if I ever do bump into someone who needs help, I'll be able to have an answer for them.

It's funny because one of my friends who was a preacher's kid could never understand why I thought they were evil, but she liked to dabble in astrology, fortune tellers and psychics. Go figure. Once you open the door to the demonic deception in one area, you run the risk of being blinded all over the place. I tried to tell her but it was like she was blinded by her involvement in the other stuff.

The reason Bigfoot stays hidden is because once he came into town, but he saw Chuck Norris walking down the street.

This comment is not in jest: is there any Biblical evidence for stenches in the presence of demons? Not saying there's not, but I can't recall any off hand. If so, just going outside ought to be unbearable.

However, when I was a kid reading either the Amityville Horror or Exorcist, can't remember which, but there was a smell of :poop whenever the devil was around. And flies. As far as I know, that is possibly the origin of that thinking, but I stand to be corrected. I'm sure those authors got it from somewhere.

COOL! There was this really bad couple of Six Million Dollar Man episodes that had aliens and a bigfoot all linked together. Being halfway serious here, I wonder just how much hollywood and their puppet masters have known and for how long. They seem to have a very creepy habit of projecting craziness that in many cases turns out to be true-ish.

I think some of this falls under the whole fruitless speculations the Bible warns against. Some of it is sort of neat like studying the mythology of ancient cultures but trying to put too much spiritual or theological importance into it could be dangerous in that it distracts us from what is really important and could cause division over things not central to the Gospel.

I‘ve always found interesting the story regarding Steven Spielberg. In an interview about a year after the release of his 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind he stated that NASA sent him a 20 page letter before the film came out trying to discourage him from releasing it. I always thought that was a very strange move by NASA.

I remember those two episodes.
Super cheesey, but as a kid I still liked them.
This made me think of that Logans's Run series that came out about a year later . Only lasted one season.

Agree, so easy to do and can distract.

I couldn’t find it on his page or anywhere else, so I figured it was in a book. I’d love to read those books as the subject interests me, but God has forbidden me from studying bigfoot stuff (I group alien stuff in with it). I was perplexed as to why, but I saw something when I was 18 and I’ve realized these sightings/experiences are to tempt people into an interest which can open the door to demonic attacks. It’s not uncommon for a person who’s seen something and begun to study it to then be oppressed hundreds of miles from where they had their sighting.

This is one of those rare times the Lord let me know why He’s expecting something of me, lol. I can count on one hand the times God has been very, very clear with me, and this is one of them. I have enough mental issues without adding a herd of angry bigfeet to the mix! Yes, I’m laughing at myself.

This is a point of sin for me personally, not anyone else.
