I'm praying we don't have to see that, a world without the restraining influence of America-- as I type this I think the Lord is using American Christians and their prayers, along with the prayers of the saints around the world to continue to restrain world evil powers thru America as one of the many tools in God's Hand.

It's a part of The Restrainer's actions. The Holy Spirit acting as The Restrainer thru the church -- world wide.

America has been used of God to send the gospel, and to act to restrain evil regimes since England was removed from that role in WW2 and to a lesser extent in WW1. (the 2 wars being an extension of each other) as England betrayed the Jews (Balfour Declaration was set aside and broken, then WW2 had Britain stopping the Jews from emigrating to Israel and safety both during and after WW2). The British Empire with all it's faults had been used for evangelism, and policing the world up till then.

I suppose the question is whether God will continue to use America to restrain world wide dictatorships and evil right up to the Rapture or if He will restrain the violence and evil tendencies of world powers via other means while He sets America aside?

I see America as the final westward push of the old Roman Empire-- the baton was passed from England who got it from Western Europe and the dying Roman empire-- I don't see another Empire to take that baton into the future.

In fact the only thing I see is that Western Europe and the globalists will be the central power left after the Rapture-- allowing the rise of the AC. Whether the 10 kings are Eurocentric or 10 zones of world power, the AC rises from the former Roman Empire which occupied Western Europe, Britain, Turkey and the Mediterranean Basin/North Africa.

I hope and pray that He will continue to use America in that role for just a little longer.

But once the Christians- world wide are removed in the Rapture, there will be no need to restrain-- and all hell will break loose on this earth.

I agree. Believers are being used by God in restraining the globalists The rapture of believers is most likely the catalyst they need to finally implement their nefarious plans.

Also, I believe that the free world led by America and created from the 18th century is the open door mentioned in Rev. 3:8:

"I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name."

The Lord may be addressing Christians in the late 16th century and early 17th century in this verse. I'm thinking the Pilgrims, the Anabaptists, the Moravians, and many other groups we may not have heard of but have been faithful to Him amidst the heavy Sardisian spirit of that period.

Take the Pilgrims, for example. They lived in the Netherlands for a time to escape persecutions in England. But being foreigners in that country and fearing their children would grow up in a more liberal environment, they decided to leave Europe altogether and cross the Atlantic instead.

The above verse says no one can shut this open door but God. We hear bits and pieces of the globalists' plans but I believe they can only go so far because of the restraining power of the Church.
