My depression started after a series of bad experiences that all came at once stretching over a year. It was one nightmare after another. I'm left here broken but healing. Just praying nothing else bad going to happen for a while.

I really admire you George!! Depression isn't any fun ....I suffer from it as does one of my children....I'm thinking and most of all...Praying for you....!thumbs up to you George

I had a pretty good life until 2014 then everything turned upside down. I don’t think it will come back up to where it was before. But I keep telling myself it could be worse.
I too like your selve
worry and pray for my children. I pray every morning for them. And I also pray through out the day for them. I will be praying for you and your family. Prayer has got me through this most difficult time.

I've never suffered from depression but I lost my best friend at 19 years old from suicide and sometimes still struggle with it.

I just want to add that we are all in a battle with darkness(Satan). He wants us to be fearful, and anxious. We are to cast our cares upon Jesus! Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. It is not Gods will for Christians to take our lives, but I agree that we can not lose our salvation. We are sealed until the day of redemption. We are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us.
Whatsoever things are pure, lovely, honest, and of a good report think on these things. This is why we need to put on the full armor of God read Ephesians 6.

Yes, praying as well, for everyone. Have been since this thread started.

I am encouraged by your examples of perseverance and leaning on God during such difficult times. This must be precious to God. May He provide times of refreshment, joy and encouragement.
