Consumer debt is literally a slave collar. It removes options and crushes the very breath and desire to live.

I know, I’ve been there, in debt equivalent to more than a years salary at one time.

It took years of deprivation and sacrifice to undo the damage but I have been delivered from debt and now strive to live only w/in my means though it’s meant a drastically reduced “standard of living” that I don’t really miss anymore.

If I weren’t a Christian I would mail these offers back to the companies blank with a picture of my middle finger Included.

My opinion - it’s already belly up. Occasional stock market “peaks” are only
an indication of the major collapse that’s coming.
The Fed is useless - and too far behind in raising rates to stop the disaster.
Our dear leader cannot admit that massive Federal borrowing is increasing inflation.
It’s very telling when an aggressive entrepreneur like Musk is going to get rid of ten percent of his employees, and admits that it is too soon to cram his own electric cars down our throat.
And now an agency of our bloated, incompetent civil service has severely damaged the continual flow of needed baby formula due to slow-walking its response to a whistleblower complaint. This attack on the health of children is particularly revealing as it pertains to Satanic influence in our disasters. Abortion, drug use, gender fluidity, child trafficking, substituting CRT for biblical teaching, and now an attack on the production of irreplaceable formula that is far from over, and will lead to hospitalizations. Satan always targets children with special wrath.
We‘re already belly up with no end in sight.

I hear a lot about a coming recession, but IMHO where we're headed is way worse than just a recession. Sadly, "Great Depression" might not accurately describe what's coming either because it's looking like things will be worse than in the 1930s.

The continuing crime, inflation, flow of aliens over our border, release of criminals, murders, and total dishonesty of our President have managed to drain me of most of the hope I had for a reversal of fortune after the November election. Biden will still be President and will continue to drag us down. If he and others are impeached or investigated, it would consume time needed to revitalize the oil industry, control crime, rebuild our cities, and keep violent criminals in jail. Fentanyl is everywhere thanks to Joe’s passivity to drug cartels. We have sunk too far to see the top of the hole the Biden crime family has dug. We have allies who have sunk into various forms of socialism and don‘t seem to know how to take their countries back.
I have to agree with TimeWarpWife. Think about newsreels you have seen of events in the Great Depression. Remember the bread lines and soup lines? Everyone stood in line patiently. I wonder how the dopers, thugs, and gang members will act? Imagine the New York Subway without the train.
